<description>I love the community garden idea. I adopted a community greenspace in my neighborhood and re-planted and tended it for about three years until my health would not allow it any longer. An elderly neighbor who worked the landscapte on the Applachian Parkway and has since passed away...loved to ride up on his golf cart and chat while I worked in the common area...he gave me lots of wonderful gardening tips and I cherish those memories of spending time digging in the earth and chatting with my elderly neighbor. Thanks for sharing the photos!
