In still recovering from the death of my best friend July 7, 2007, my heart aches for you. We have recently moved out of a home and are consolidating into one home the treasures from three homes.....I am going through all the artwork, poems, short stories from our childrens' young lives and trying to figure out what to do with it all. Now I know. I must save it, preserve it and envelope it into a gift for our three daughters. The essay of your Mother's death and the eulogy were just what I needed to read today. I have been a fan of yours for many years now and have taped all your old shows! So now I have all the shows with Big Martha in them too. I taped the shows to remember the recipies and to watch all the field trips to the rare to find stores, but most of all because of the scenes with you and your Beloved Mother. The love between you two always warmed my heart. And you now have the warmest memories to keep you warm on cold days. I can't explain how sad I feel now, but now I know the real reason I taped all your shows and I am so glad I did.
