Hi, Martha;
I have loved your work, I love your show, I love your site, and I love your blog.

However, I hope my comment will be taken in the spirit in which it is made.

With all due respect, I am very disheartened that you have gone to Wal-Mart. It makes no sense to me and is counter to everything you represent and all the character I believe you have been displaying. I know that my small concern won't make a bit of difference in what is undoubtedly a cool 'business' decision. But I'm afraid I can't continue to promote or recommend something I can't believe in to my friends and family. I'm really sorry. You have played a big part in my creative life and for that I am always grateful and appreciative.

Chris

Martha, I'm glad you have such talented help for your blog. I've been amazed at how you have always posted the comments. I know they are moderated and approved by you and that takes time. Your sister is beautiful and extremely talented as are you. Eliad must be some photographer and organizer because you must have some million or more photos. Anyway they are lucky to have such a grand employer. Nan

Hi Martha,
Sorry to hear about Paw Paw's kidney troubles. I had three pussy cats that lived to be 23 years old each, two were sisters and one was a daughter of one of the sisters. They all lived to be so old that they eventually developed kidney problems as well. My vet taught me how to give the subcutaneous fluids with an iv rigging (just in the neck under the skin) that really helped them out a lot. They were such dear sweet little friends that I could tell when they were becoming dehydrated and I would call them over to the table where I had the iv stuff set up, they would come willingly and let me hold them while I gave them their fluids. They knew that it made them feel better, at first I was very squeemish doing it but when I saw the difference it made in them I did it readily. I started doing it when they were about 17 to 18 years of age so it extended their time with me by five or six years. They were the best little cats and I miss them greatly.
It is so nice to see how much you love all your animals, I would love to be able to visit you one day and go for a walk with Paw Paw and all your other critters. I love your donkeys and your cats, they all look like they are having the time of their lives. I very much admire you Martha, you make the world a nice place and that.... is a good thing. Keep being you.
Best regards,
Carrol Joy

Hello Martha,

I love watching your show, and have been everyday, for 6 mo. You are almost perfect at everything you do. I study body language as a hobby. Noticed you have a need to have everything, and everyone around you be perfect. Example: todays show, the young man, was adding stuff to the top of dish. You had to fix a few of the toppings, Why? another day, you got upset, because the staff put a sm. nut grater, which did not work for your guest.You called it a nasty little grater.Then the staff runs in with a very lg. grater. Martha, I want you to really enjoy every minute of your life. The world is not perfect, and it is what it is. When my only child was young, I tried to be perfect. It backfired on me, he likes to make a mess, and cleans it up, when he feels like. Looking back, I was a nagging mother, trying to be perfect. You are very close to perfect. Would you consider a lighter attitude, when things are not perfect? I enjoy the kitchen staff,when they bring you something at the last minute. Maybe it is because you are on a tight time schedule, that you seem upset when delays happen. Make a few mistakes Martha, then we all won't try to be PERFECT.

Love your show
karen

I love the brown limoges (large) coffee cups used for cappuccino that were pictured about a week or so ago. Can someone please tell me the name of the manufacturer and the pattern name?
