WOW! What a phenomenal place and a truly dedicated, skillful farmer. Since I visited Ms Kemp--quite awhile ago--great changes and expansion have taken place at Holey Farm! I look forward to a return trip and quite agree with Martha Stewart's assessment. It is wonderful to know where to find a combination of utility, creativity, and ecological care provided in such a beautiful setting! Oh yummy!! I envy your local restaurants and consumers. They are truly blessed. Best wishes for the farm's continued success.

Thank you for featuring The Bahamas on your show and especially bringing to light the effects we are all having on our coral reefs. As a Bahamian I am very concerned about our reefs and it is so wonderful to have someone like yourself take an interest in what The Bahamas is trying to do to conserve and protect. Thank you thank you!
You are always welcome to our islands. Hopefully we can all make countries like The Bahamas " Better and Beautiful and Abundant".

I have lived in The bahamas for really long time now and always savored the local produce. They were a CLASS in itself. Foley farms in Nassau is fine example of Maria-Therese,s grit and commitment to grow such a variety of fresh vegetables, totally approved by Martha herself . Like its said "Its better in TheBahamas" and they werent kidding.

I saw the farm today (aug 13 2008 and thought it was amazing. I know of folks here who give up under less adverse conditions. I think the thing that bothers me the most about america is we are so prone buying at the supermarket rather than the neighborhood farm. Folks fly by mine at great speeds, far above the speed limit, using up oil like crazy ? I had read a paper that said we could save over a 100,000 barrels (not gallons) a week by eating locally produced Meats and vegetables ONE day a week. Anyway, that farm is amazing. I'd like to run away to it, care to join me ?

MARTHA, JUST WANTED TO SAY BEFORE WATCHING YOUR SHOW ON ATLANTIS,I WAS WEEPING FOR THE POOR PEOPLE OF CHINA. ONE OF THE MORNING SHOWS HAD INTERVIEWED A CHINESE MAN WHOM HAD SURVIVED WITH HIS SON, BUT WAS TRYING SO HARD NOT TO CONVEY THE LOSS OF HIS WIFE WHOM DIED TRYING TO SAVE HER YOUNG STUDENTS. I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW UPLIFTING YOUR SHOW WAS! SOMETIMES, WORLD TRAGEDY CAN BE SO DEBILETAING,YET NATURE'S GRANDEUR CAN BE ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING.
