I think everyone wonders what kind of person martha really is behind closed doors and to me, anyone who loves a pet this much shows their true heart. Paw Paw was a beutiful boy and I am sure he had a wonderful life at home. We have our own chow bear, Glory, not a show dog by any means ha ha but adopted 6 years ago from a shelter and has had our hearts ever since. I can't imagine what I would ever do without her.

I just came across your blog while looking for a dog paw gif. to leave on memorial site for a police dog named Laser. Laser died in the line of duty with two officers. My sister just lost her beloved 13 year old coley named Selah so hard to say goodbye. Like you she buried her close to home in her garden. Your chow was a beautiful chow boy who had you so he was a lucky boy too! Take care Martha

i will also miss PAWPAW i'm always trilled when i see him on martha show, such a cute and charming dog.i also bought a chowchow for my own because of pawpaw so adorable and most behaved dog.MISS YOU FOREVER!!!

hi, martha, am really sorry to hear about pawpaw, im a dog lover too, i in fact proudly call myself a pet parent, so i can relate so much to your loss. here is a poem i found on the net, hope it makes you feel just little bit better

A DOG FOR JESUS

i wish someone had given Jesus a dog
as loyal and loving as mine
to sleep by his manger and gaze in his blue eyes
and adore him for being divine

as our land grew to manhood his faithful dog

I so sorry about your dog. I feel your pain, my lovebird Peaches past away the same day. I wil miss Peaches as well as Paw Paw

I'm so sorry for your loss. He was beautiful. I too am a chow chow owner. The breed has always been my favorite since childhood. I have had several through the years and each are unique and suprisingly each different from the other.
I was hoping to find some advice on your site for chow chow issues that nobody has had an answer to for me, that's what brought me here to your page. Also I work with a woman who loves these dogs too and has one. She volunteers at the local shelter and was also very heart broken to hear the news. I'm fearful of the day coming for mine although he is just not yeat a year and a half old. God Bless you and know how he loved you.
