Would you be able to sell some of those black currants that you grow? They would have to be shipped to washington state either frozen or dried.

I was given a bag of lovely rhubarb. Not wanting to waste it I had to search for a jam recipe. I made freezer jam with it so we will enjoy it for months to come. Mmmmmmmm!

Hello Denise,
Blackberries and black raspberries are very different. I grew up harvesting both. Black berries are thicker, firmer,have bigger pods to them and are typically a bit tart. Black raspberries are smaller and are like red raspberries in that they are some what hollow or dome shaped and they are much sweeter than black berries. Hope this helps!

I moved to the USA 2 years ago from the UK & have been homesick for fresh currants !! I have not been able to find fresh black/red/white currants anywhere, as for gooseberries..............Tell me where I can find them please !
Can someone also tell me why you call blackberries black raspberries ???

So this is what I have to look forward to?! How wonderful! I just planted a red currant bush this year. It was a mother's day present. These are the jewels I prefer... the edible kind
