HOST IS A MIRACLE PRODUCT-IM ECSTATIC!!!!My cat threw up on my beige sisal rug-it was BAD! Professional cleaner came over and said nothing could be done to remove stain. Looked online in desperation for how to clean notoriously difficult sisals and came across your site and Martha's article. Found stockist, rented machine, bought powder, followed instructions- SO EASY : )
And MIRACULOUS! Stain completely gone and adding to that a one year old coffee stain (large) when my husband spilt his morning coffee which at the time we blotted and then place a large ottoman over it. But guess what? That stain disappeared COMPLETELY with Host too! I mean seriously its like a miracle! This sisal rug was $900. I thought it was ruined! For a $40 box of Host and $25 for the machine its value is fully restored. After that I couldnt stop there and did all the wool carpets in our home. SOOOO happy with the results. It removed an old grease stain that professional carpet cleaners couldnt get out! Thank you HOST! Cost efficient, easy, crazy effective and GREEN! It was so nice to know that my two kitties were safe as I used it. I just tweeted how amazing Host is. I want everyone to know! You can buy a sisal rug without fear knowing that this product is on the market if you have a spill.

a very good thing to see other people this business with like mentalities and thoughts
Never the less, Excellent post!

No Wet Carpet
Because HOST is a low-moisture cleaner, there’s no waiting for wet carpet to dry. With HOST, you can walk on your carpet during and immediately after cleaning!

The sponges will help reduce dust mites, dust mite allergens, cat allergens and mold spores*.

The HOST System of applying HOST Dry Carpet Cleaner to the carpet, brushing it through the carpet and then vacuuming up the HOST Dry Carpet Cleaner removes dirt and reduces allergens.

Research studies have shown that one cleaning with the HOST System using HOST Machines reduces: Dust mites by 78%, Dust Mite Allergen by 75%, Cat Allergen by 85%, Mold Spores by 85%:
No wet carpet
No sticky, soapy residue left behind
No filling or dumping of water
No chemicals to mix
Removes dust mites and other allergens
Safe for all types of carpet
Carpet stays cleaner longer
Safe for people and pets

Ok..it's somewhat of a comfort to know that even in Martha Stewart's house, her dogs may have the occasional accident.

martha, we were at the doctors office today and picked up your magizine. and there was sharkey. two weeks ago we got a puppy that looks just like sharkey. we named him frank. he has brought us lots of joy to are heart. we were wondering what he was going to look like when he gets older and now we know. from the photos, we can't tell if sharkey has had her tail docked.

The Host machine will probably work just fine on that Sisal Carpet,Dry Cleaning process.
Sisal is difficult to clean with water,Its a cactus fiber. And water stains wont come out,a cellulose fiber.Or any other stains. As far as the Pet stain, maybe soak up the dog pee,but as for any oder from urine will remain.Mite have a problem with black mildew issue and moving spoors will do great harm to youre health.
