A day in Prague, unedited from my camera
Here is a large gallery of photos I took this summer while visiting Prague (the capital of the Czech Republic). I am sorry that I haven't had the time to properly caption all of the pictures. This collection has been taken right from the memory card of my camera and is unedited! I hope you will enjoy browsing through this gallery.

That balloon thing was cool. It reminded me of these huge blimps that are south of the Ft. Davis Mountains. It would rise and scan about a 200 mile radius for immigrants.
Great pictures!

Wow, you can find the most beautiful and interesting things to photograph! Captions or not, the scenery is great and I'm having fun trying to figure out what some of the objects are. Trish

Prague has always been a place that has held an allure for me. You've captured some of the interesting little "moments" that make a city tick--and fueled my desire to visit one day!

Martha these photos are amazing and it is so good to know that even you do not have the time to edit and comment on them all! There is alot left to the imagination and I hope sometime you will be able to fill us in. Thanks.

While living in Germany for three years I visited a number of European cities. Prague was my favorite. I love the cobblestone street and fancy horse and carriages. Your images capture its loveliness.

Hi Martha, It's hard to imagine that you took all of these photos on a one day trip to Prague. Your photos are absolutely beautiful! I am guessing that you were in the main part of Prague visiting all of the cathedrals, museums, art galleries, parks, churches, etc. I love the architecture and the paintings. This is a beauiful place and how fantastic that you were there on such a beautiful day. Thanks so much for sharing. Jan

As I sat at my computer viewing the beautiful and interesting photographs from Prague, I suddenly found myself thinking, "I am looking at Martha Stewart's pictures". Wow! Thank you for sharing with your fans. I, personally, will never view these lovely and interesting places in person, so your pictures help me "see" them through your camera lens, and your eye for the beautiful.

Just a couple pictures from the end, Kevin was d-w-a-r-f-e-d by the flower arrangements on the table...they looked very large! (beautiful, though!) (That lucky Kevin gets to go everywhere you go, Martha!)
What a plethora of pictures! How, pray tell, are you able to keep things straight in your mind, as to where this place was, where that place was, etc?!! Your photo library must be phenomenal!
This was fun! Thanks for letting us experience this journey to Prague, looking through your eyes, Martha!

I wasn't sure where to post this on your community. For all the knitters and crocheters out there your skills are needed. It will be donated for an amazing cause.
Coates and Clark has a pattern and they are collecting scarves to keep our athletes warm for the Special Olympics 2009. They need a lot of donations. They have patterns listed and about how many they need.
Here is the url for more details. I am just trying to get the word out about this. I think its a wonderful thing

Terri Mauro has a blog on Special Needs Parenting on about.com She did a blog on this as well. Called Keep our Athletes warm. If You could let me know where to post this on your community that would be terrific. They need our help and again its a wonderful cause.

Martha, it looks like you had a great time in Prague - your pictures are awesome! I was actually there two summers ago with my sister, and we loved it. Such a beautiful city. Although, since we were doing a "tour of Europe" we got confused by Prague's strange currency and ended up accidently buying a $400 necklace for our mom! Haha! I hope for your sake they have finally converted to the Euro.

I like picture 88. You can see a reflection in the glass if you look closely.

I so enjoy looking at your travel photos, you take amazing shots of architectural details, as I enjoy doing! Could you please tell me what photo #148 is? My guess is a floor grate, but perhaps not? I've not had the pleasure of getting to Prague...yet...but it's definitely up there on my list! Thank you for sharing your beautiful photos...very inspiring!
