Francesca and Sharkey take over my blog!
Last week, Francesca and Sharkey took a car trip to New York City to be on my television show. The segment they appeared in was about healthy pet food and it will be aired soon. It’s always so much fun when they come to visit. They’re such little hams and they wanted to guest blog today. Come and have a look at my charming little Frenchies.

My favorite post to date. I LOVE THE DOGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just wanted to write Mrs. Martha Stewart and tell her I think she is brillant. She hires brillant people. I love I mean really enjoy her magazine so much, my husband renews it for me. I also enjoy the television show very much. The reason I believe she hires brillant people is become of these two products, along with all the other avenues she is in. No one can do these things alone. They have to be brillant to be able to choose just the right people for the right job. I have never ever written a fan letter before, but I just had to.

Martha,
As a fellow dog lover, it is always a pleasure to see your two lovely pets. I am blessed to have 3 tiny dogs, that I consider my family. They have given me tons of comfort and love after the death of my husband. Keep bringing your wonderful pets to the show!

Hi Francesca and Sharkey, It's so great that you finally did a blog for all of your fans-us dogs! My Mom {Jan} was reading your blog and was laughing so I had to come over and sit on her lap so I could see what was so humorous and there you were cuter than ever. I sure wish we could play together and I know we would have lots of fun. I talked my Mom into taking me for a walk today. It sure would have been fun if you could have joined us. The weather was cool, but nice and sunny. I will anxiously await your next blog. Have a great Thanksgiving, but don't eat too much turkey. I love you both. Sincerely. Dudley Do Right

I love when you have your pets on the show! When will the new puppy be on! I'm anxious to see how big he has gotten, also want to learn what his name is. I'm looking forward to this show since I have two dogs..a brother & sister which are 1/2 Bichon & 1/2 Shih Shu.

Martha - great pictures of the girls. I wish I could have been at that show. I have 3 Labs whom I love dearly but there is something so special about my Frenchie. I think it's the attitude of these small beasts. Thanks for sharing.

The dogs seem to be good travelers. I love how they watch out the windows when they get into the city. They seem to be just like cats in the sense that they are so inquisitive. Very cute, the captions made me laugh!

I love dogs. I have a young Lhasa apso. Your dogs look quite well-trained. It's cool that they get to appear on TV.

Wonderful photos and commentary! Would you please let me know the manufacturer of both the coats as well as the harnesses the girls have on in the first picture?
Posted by: Whitney | November 24th, 2008 at 7:42 am
Dear Martha,
I would like to know where you got those wonderful pet coats for your Frenchies! I would like to get them in a larger size for my Airedales. We live in Bar Harbor so you know it can be very cold here. These coats looks like they are of a much better quality than the ones I have now for Sadie and MacDuff.
Thank you

Hi - I was just wondering what kind of harness you have on your dogs? I've been looking for a good harness - and this type looks pretty good. I have a similar size dog - Cavalier King Charles - and I think he might like this kind. Richie ate his first harness when he took it into his crate one day.
Thanks!

...I'd be glad to hold these puppydoggies any day of the week...they are so well-adjusted and gregarious with strangers! I always have to chuckle when they get a bad report of being a little overly rambunctious! [giggle]
I grew up with Boxers and am used to the snorting, slobber, and the pushed-in noses...that's their nature. (My mother and I used to spot clean the walls every Saturday, just to clean up from when they shook all over the place!)
If your little girls, Martha, are anything like my childhood companions, then you have friends for life! They're devoted to their master. I consider myself a cat-whisperer, and I'm sure mommyMartha has a way with her pet companions, too! They enhance our lives so...they're wonderful little parts of our family!

Martha,
Those pups are the best!!! They are not to spoiled, now are they? I always say, that in my next life, I want to come back as my dog. Her name is Bunny and she is a Lhasa Apsa. What a life they have being carted around, and fed only the best treats. It's really "RUFF", isn't it?
Have a great Turkey Day, and give our best to all the other beautiful specimens on the farm, including yourself!
Gobble Gobble!!!

Loved to see your kids, ha, dogs. I have two, they love to travel, they own our mini van. Dogs are easy to love [have 2 cats too] and gut wrenching to loose. Keep up the pet shows, and love the cooking and crafts too.
