The auction is scheduled for this coming Saturday and the auctioneer said it was consigned from a gentleman in Bar Harbor and is approx. 50 years old. The frame is original and I believe it is mahogany. I plan to attend the auction and if you are interested in this painting I will get it for you and you can refund me after you receive the painting. I was one of the lucky one's to meet you and have you sign my 5 books for Christmas gift's. I can't wait to give my 80 yr old aunt her book. She will squeal with delight. We both subscribe to Living and Every Day Food and talk about them all the time. I just wanted to tell you how wonderful your driver was with Sharkey and Francesca. He was soooo kind to the fans, allowing everyone pose with them and take as long as they needed. What is your secret on such well behaved girls? They sat nest to each other and actually posed for pictures! They were so wonderful. I have one question. I have wanted to get a Bay Laurel Tree. Do you know where I can find one? Macy's did a fabulous job organizing the whole event. It was certainly a day to remember for me. You are even more beautiful and gracious in person. The television does not due you justice! My only regret is that I missed your beautiful dogs! I would have loved to have gotten a picture of them and showed my Labrador, Ripper. I bought 2 cookbooks - one for me and one for my mom for Mother's Day (shhh!). Thank you for a wonderful, exciting day! p.s. The bottled water was a FABULOUS idea. I would have paid $10 for it!!!
