Hi Martha,I'm so glad that I looked up these blogs that I missed because they are really worth it. Bedford Post sure is a fantastic place to visit even thought I can only be there through your wonderful blog. Your photos are absolutely stunning. The food looks delicious. Richard Gere and his lovely wife certainly did a fabulous job of creating a beautiful restaurant, Inn and Yoga studio. Thanks for taking us along. Jan

I don't think I could stay at this Inn. I would only have my eyes on Richard Gere, and I'm sure nothing would come out of my mouth as far as conversation is concerned. I'm just too use to looking at his work in movies. Thumbs up to Martha Stewart.

As an Irish born peasant,when I watched your show Fri 13, if it was possible to love you more,I do now. Why? Your rendition for baking Irish soda bread won my "old" Irish heart. Talk about memories. I grew up with soda farls (tria-ngular bannock type bread) done on the griddle.
Am going to make treakle bread using your resipe in "Living".Bless you forever. Can't wait
for St.Pat's show.

The Bedford Inn breads look superb in the photos. And the cinnamon rolls appear not overly sweet yet still yummy. I liked the idea of a shaved fruit & vegetable salad. What a wonderful place to have down the road from your home. On my dream vacation, I curl up with a good book in front of the fireplace in their lounge. Aaaah....bliss when all outside is wet, cold & muddy.
