Martha,
If you are ever in Northern Calif. I think you would love to see the shop called Poots House of Cactus it is in Ripon,CA., It is truly amazing. I know that you enjoy succulents and cactus. There is also a masive pottery shop right before Poots on Highway 120. Love your blog. Kim

Wow Martha!

Beds and Borders have an account with NYC? That's nice. You still in that hot, black shirt? Yes, I see everyone is color coordinated! Good Lord! We won't find you stuck in a box of crayons, now will we! Ha!

Wholesale, not open to the public, right?
I was inspired by the above photos to look at their online Spring 2009 catalogue and it is so pretty and informative. An apparently nice and very accomplished family, I wasn't aware of them before. There is always something important to learn if you dig a little deeper. Best wishes to them.
Succulents! They pop up everywhere here and it's hard to keep them corralled. One man's weed is another's tender perennial. I did think it funny to see the weeds in the sedum. Just a little bit of "Amish imperfection" in a very tidy operation.

The plants at Beds & Borders, Inc are really beautiful and no doubt Zack and Heather have a lot to do with keeping them in tiptop shape. That’s an excellent crop of pansies and I really like the chicks & hens, but most of all the Tasmania violet. It has such beautiful leaves and I zoomed in and saw the orange beak too. Pretty neat - thanks for the tour Martha. I bought some perennials over the weekend which I need to get into the ground today and I also bought some beautiful ferns.

I look forward to when your show starts on September 14 so we can see which plants you and Andrea selected. Trish
