I came to your blog hoping to see some pictures of your aluminum Christmas tree all done up. I saw your article from the Birmingham News on Faux trees and the rage they are becoming. I own two small aluminum trees myself. I have no idea if you ever check pictures on Flickr or not. There are many groups, photostreams, and people who display their photos. I love the bottle brush trees and the houses, they remind me of the ones my mother used to put out every Christmas!(in the 60's and 70's)

I love the smaller buildings. I had never heard of Grandin Road before, but I went right there and ordered both sets of the smaller houses! I can't wait to get them!

Hi Martha, What a fantastic assortment of Christmas items that cute little Laura had to unpackage and then put on display in your beautiful home. She sure did look happy opening all of those packages and I could see why because the items were all super Christmas items. How lucky you must feel having such a fabulous housekeeper.
