Cute pic. They really do look like they are consoling one another. I just wanted to mention that my sister also has a new puppy and has owned several dogs in the past. She had mentioned that most dog shampoos are way too thick which makes it kinda of difficult to work up a good lather so its best to dilute it about 20-30 percent by adding water. As you probably already know, you should never use people shampoo or dish soap because they are way to harsh for your pets delicate skin. Baby shampoo might be a temporary solution if you run out of pet shampoo and really need to give Sparky a bath. I should mention also that bathing by itself won't remove all the shedding hair from your dogs short coat, either. Some people forget that brushing is necessary before and after the bath. And just like children, you should create a safe bath environment for your pets. Enough for now. Love the pic.

The dogs are so adorable & the lovely cat & well behaved at your Christmas meal.
We lost our little one Muffy October last year, so our Christmas was entirely different.
And also happy new year 20.10.
Regards Lynn.

I am so glad to see a chow in your life again. I always wondered why you gave them up..

I had a chow mix first go, then two full black chows. I lost my best friends when they passed on.

I knew that I would never have another one like Stormy, so now I have a St. Bernard and lab mix.
She is such a goofus, but love her dearly..

Didn't you have a puppy chow a few years back?

So happy for you to get your new chow puppy finally! We all know that you've gone through a lot to get that puppy. Hope that you and your new dog have a long and happy life together! And Francesca, don't be upset, you're still a princess and a new puppy can't dethrone you!

Franny is such a diva, she should do the TV commercials for Turbie Twist Hair Towels! Your newest baby is darling. Just keep reminding your brood that there is always enough love to go around. God bless.
