What makes fried foods more fattening? If I add a tablespoon of butter to my dish and fry it or bake it does the calorie count change because it was fried?

Martha, so sorry to hear about your horse, Martyn. My collie, Bob, died of cancer and it is a very emotional time. My house has always been full of animals. I created my website to help animals. I am donating 15% of my sign ups to organizations on my website.

Hello Our Wonderful Martha. You are truly a person of our "best interest". I hope you ignore the comments made by the previous (Jurgens). I am an average 67 yr old gal w/loving children & grandchildren that love my cooking. I owe a great deal of that to you. My Father was a WW1 Veteran, borned in 1899. He taught me somewhat, however, much on my own. I always think about waste first, trying always to freeze & save first before throwing away. You are the Best, Carry On Love, MaryJane from Michigan

Deepest sympathy on the loss of your beloved horse. As an animal lover myself I can truly understand your sorrow.

On another subject. A while back you mentioned someone had said you interrupted guests etc. on your daily TV show. For awhile you were doing better, but I've noticed lately you are back to your old tactics. Please be more polite and at least give them a chance to answer or describe what they are cooking/crafting etc. You also don't pay attention to what they are saying or doing and fiddle around or interrupt constantly. Think about it. I still LOVE your show.
