Checking out the "A-Team," a Tex-Mex Menu, and a Visit to the Apple Store
Last Wednesday on the Today Show, I demonstrated a really great Tex-Mex menu from the June issue of Everyday Food. I think you’ll agree that these recipes deliver the big, bold flavors we crave during the hot months of summer. Plus, this easy menu is great party food. Also appearing on the show that morning were the handsome stars of the new action film “The A-Team.” It’s always fun to be around cute guys. After the show, we popped into the nearby Apple store to check out some new gear for the iPad.
6 Some of the cast of 'The A-Team'- Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson, and Sharlto Copley
12 Watermelon margaritas, stuffed jalapeños, tequila-grilled shrimp, grilled skirt steak with poblano relish, shredded cabbage and radish salad, pinto beans with bacon and scallions, red rice, salsa fresca, and tres leches cake
13 A Tex-Mex fiesta is a fun and satisfying spread and a surefire way to welcome the easy, breezy days of summer.
14 The Ingredients for Tequila Lime Shrimp are peeled and deveined shrimp, tequila, fresh lime juice, and fresh orange juice.

The last time i watched Today Show about 8 years ago, when i lived in NYC. Al Roker is getting thinner & thinner. But I still prefer his "fat" appearance hehehe...Anne Curry looks great too...nice collection of pictures, Martha

Love Tex Mex and yesterday in the beautiful white earth valley at a rodeo, my little niece said "was that a jalapeno (palomino)?" We also cut up a perfect, juicy, ripe, red, watermelon to enjoy eating outside at this annual family tradition in Dakota. Orange is the color of celebration and you are gorgeous in it.

Hi Martha,
A fellow twitter friend and aficionado of Every Food Magazine @vfbr2001 cooked up a Tex-Mex meal yesterday. Maybe he'll comment and direct us to some of his pictures. He always does a splendid job in the kitchen and with his presentation and is very happy that you follow him.

I know what you mean about ‘cute guys’ as in the “A-Team”. I plan to see that movie. I thought Bradley Cooper was a riot in the “Hangover” and Liam Neeson is always great in anything he plays. Thanks for sharing your pictures and especially of the colorful presentation you and your staff put today for the demo. It was pretty funny when Ann Curry put all the pepper in instead of ‘to taste’ but that is how we all learn. Trish

P.S. The Daily Wag was especially funny today –I hope all your visitors here get a chance to read it too.

You always make me smile. I wonder how many watermelon margaritas were consumed. I wonder how many the Apple folks wished you had provided them and a bowl od salsa would also been great as well.

Just looked at your calendar in Martha Stewart Living and thought how wonderful it would be if you gave some time to just walking dogs at your local SPCA or Humane Society. A co-worker just informed me that she dog walks at our local shelter and when she logs in she realizes that these dogs haven't been walked since the previous week when she walked them. I just think if you endorsed this it could be a "good thing" for these poor, languishing animals!

Of course everybody wants to live a Martha Stewart life!!! When are you going to write an autobiography?

I just saw a Hallmark film (with Sibil Shepard) about you. You are not famous in my country (Serbia), so I googled about you.
You look great. I was surprised that you were born 1941.
It would be interesting to know how you endured prison - probably in USA it is known.
Keep on doing what you do and I wish you good health.

The recipes in the June issue are easy and good. Very simple and quick; they make you look like a real chef. And the A-Team rocks; always has, always will.
