A Very Special Edition of Everyday Food
This week, on newsstands, you’ll find a very special edition of Everyday Food. It’s the first full-size version of our pocket-size cooking magazine and it’s dedicated to everything we love about summer, with more than 120 recipes. You’ll find my recipe for Strawberry-Ginger Caipirosca, one of my favorite summer drinks, along with other must-have summer dishes from chefs like Rick Bayless, Tom Colicchio, and Emeril Lagasse. There are also entertaining tips and great menus for the season, a roundup of farmers’ markets, fairs, festivals, and food trucks around the country, plus a beautiful story filled with fresh, fruity ice pops. Here’s a peek at what you’ll find in this special issue.

Hi Martha,
The ice pop on the cover sure looks good and salad suppers are always a winner with me! I'll be sure to pick up a copy my next trip to the store. Trish

I LOVED this new size for Everyday Foods...it is a lovely magazine. Bought it yesterday and spent last night devouring every page! It is wonderful, please think about keeping it this size. Much easier to read and enjoy. Thank you!

Hi Martha, Sure hope you had a fantastic 4th of July weekend! It was finally warm here and no rain! Thanks for this new Everyday Food Special Summer Issue! Can't wait to get one next time I go shopping! Loved seeing your special TV Martha's Friends show, Martha's Fourth on Sunday on the Hallmark Channel! It was superb! Sorry about my mistake the other day when I said I loved seeing the new co-host on the Today show with you. I meant to say Ann Curry and said Ann Murry by mistake-oops! How fun it was to hear you all day on July 4th on Sirius Radio 110 on 'Ask Martha'! Hope you have another great day! The Daily Way is so cute about the New Carpeting at the Farm! Jan

Hi Martha,
I couldn't wait any longer to pick up this Special issue so I went over to Publix and got it. I'm with Kelly, 'lovely'! I can't stop looking at the pictures - everything looks so good. How ironic that I mentioned the pioneer woman to you in an email just the other day and now I see she was profiled for this issue. Okay, back to the magazine to decide what to make first but already leaning towards the peaches 'n' cream ice pop. Trish

Good morning, today is 7-6-11 and just watched
you on the TODAY program and you made a bread salad that looked delicious. I was married to an Italian and learned to make a salad very similar using a dried, pepper tasting bread called Biscute (sp?). We were able to get it while living in Conn. Came in a plastic twist tie package. Was unable to get it while living in Fl. You should try this, I know you will love it. Thank you for your time. Would love to hear from you.

Martha,
The Strawberry-Ginger Caipirosca sounds wonderful! I will def pick up a copy, terrific concept by the way. My name is Christopher Mariani and I am the son of Esquire's food critic John Mariani. I am a huge fan and I write a weekly food column in the Mariani's Virtual Gourmet Newsletter (www.JohnMariani.com) @VirtualGourmet on Twitter. I watched you this morning on NBC, great stuff. Ciao

Martha...
Our 3 teenage daughters, with their 3 moms have started a frozen treats business in Nantucket. Your fruit pop was an inspiration for one of our best selling ice pops... it looks beautiful, and tastes delicious! We are also making and selling some amazing ice cream sandwiches! Our favorite is a an almond macaroon sandwich, with vanilla ice cream.
Hope you can check out our blog:

and be sure to come by the Nantucket Saturday Market from 9 am to 1 pm if you visit our island this summer!
cheers,
