Officially Unveiling the New Martha Stewart Home Office With Avery Product Line
UPDATE: The contest is now closed. The winners have been contacted by e-mail. Congratulations!
On a recent blog, I introduced you to my brand new Martha Stewart Home Office with Avery product line sold exclusively at Staples. This past Tuesday, I officially unveiled this terrific line of home office organizers at the midtown Manhattan Staples store to invited members of the media. Joining me was Demos Parneros – president U.S. retail, Staples and Tim Bond – group vice president Avery Dennison Office and Consumer Products. I introduced to the group the many clever and attractive organizational solutions of this new and exciting line. There are more than 300 products across multiple categories, including desk organization, journals, portable filing, and pantry organization. I think you’ll agree that the Martha Stewart Home Office with Avery can offer beautiful and innovative solutions to organize your office, home, and family. To download special coupons for these products, visit the Staples Facebook page!
1 Here I am with Demos Parneros, Staples President of U.S. Stores and Tim Bond, Group Vice President of Office and Consumer products for Avery Dennison Corporation
3 Demos Pameros said, "We are excited to partner with Martha Stewart and Avery Dennison as the exclusive destination for this line designed specifically for the home and home office space."
4 Guests were given Avery name tags from the Martha Stewart Home Office line. Cell phone cameras were de rigueur.
5 Tim Bond added, "We are excited to partner with Martha Stewart and Staples to offer consumers products that are not only stylish, but that represent the innovation that is synonymous with the Avery name."
6 I spoke about how developing this line has been a wonderful opportunity to focus on what busy, modern households and home-based entrepreneurs really want and need in a home office organization system.
7 These well-designed products are as beautiful as they are functional to inspire consumers and help them to organize their projects while also coordinating and enhancing their home office environment.
8 I introduced Megen Lee - VP, Design Director of Product Design at MSLO - He talked about the design process and how they created this entire line in one year.
9 I showed off our new chalkboard labels that come in classic and flourish shapes. Just write, erase, and write again. The removable labels stick to most smooth surfaces and peel off cleanly.
10 You can personalize your household storage containers with these chalkboard labels. They're great for glass, plastic containers, metal boxes, toy bins, and mud-room storage.
11 I also showed off these small round labels, which are great for spice jars. These labels stay on in the freezer and the microwave and are removable after one dishwasher cycle.
14 Here I am pointing out the Shagreen magazine files from the Orgainizers & Accessories section. All of these organizers have a nice finish that can easily be cleaned with a damp cloth.
15 These vertical file folders are great for sorting and organizing everyday paperwork and fit perfectly in the magazine files.
16 Moving on to the coordinating Shagreen binders, available in brown, blue, and red. The One-Touch EZD™ rings open and close with ease and hold 50% more paper than same size rings - 275 sheets!
17 I talked about the quality of Avery brand labels - They are easy to remove and never tear from the paper backing, as do other labels. They also color-coordinate perfectly with our file folders.
18 The adhesive metal bookplates are an elegant way to label and identify binders, document storage boxes, or pockets. Plus, they require no hardware to apply.
19 Demos Pameros shared that his personal favorite item is the brown Shagreen journal, which he uses for notes. We then took some questions from the audience.
21 This woman asked about a good way to store important documents in one place in case you need to run out of your house in a hurry.
22 I recommended an accordion file, like this one. It's freestanding for easy filing, it's expandable and collapsible, and it's something that certainly could be grabbed on the run.
23 Brian Greene of OfficeSupplyGeek.com wanted to know the inspiration behind the colors chosen in the line.
24 I said we have many talented designers at MSLO who meticulously chose the colors. These are colors that we all like and that fit into our daily lives with ease.
25 This fellow chimed in that Lady Gaga recently announced that mint is this season's new hot color.
27 This blogger is a stay-at-home work-at-home mother and wanted a suggestion for a really good organizer.
28 I recommended one of our three-ring binders and the many different inserts that are available. It's very handy to have your calendar laid out in front of you and the binder is also easy to take with you.
29 This audience member was curious if there were plans to expand the line, such as childrens' and/or financial organization accessories.
32 I mentioned that I have blogged about the line and that we feature them on my TV show. Demos talked about the popularity of the ads for the line on staples.com and Tim mentioned the well-received print ads that have gone out.
33 Posing for photos for the media, which included USA Today, Bloomberg, and the Wall Street Journal, among others.
34 Afterwards, everyone was invited to have a look at the line and to shop. Visitors to the store were given an exclusive 40% off coupon for any one Martha Stewart Home Office with Avery item.

2012 is the year I get organized and stay organized! I run a busy household and organization helps keep it calm and productive. I would use MS products to accomplish this goal!

I have a list of 'must-haves' already and I'm heading to Macy's in Buffalo on Friday to shop from the Martha Stewart Collection. I've blogged about some of the things I'll be searching for!

If I win the Martha Stewart Home Office prize pack with it I would re-organize my home office utilizing the wonderful and creative products. Love the dry erase labels and elastic tags. One would have come in handy during my recant super bowl party to attach to my delicate orchid plant reading: Please Don't Touch Herman's Leaves) Great line Martha I hope to win!

These products are lovely! The chalkboard labels are perfect for my pantry and I will use the freezer labels in my freezer. Of course I'd use the gift card to purchase my new Martha Stewart/Avery items.

No more lost jackets at school! Purchased clothing labels yesterday for my Kindergartener; he takes off his fleece jacket when he becomes overheated mid-day and each week we search the lost and found box to recover his forgotten jackets.

I have been using LabelOnce erasable labels for many years; I am going to relabel everything with Martha's new labels (love the chalkboard option also). I also have a home office that I will reorganize using these beautiful products! I am an organization junkie I think! Definitely a Martha fan!

I love your new line. I've already redesigned my home office with the desk trays, drawer and organizer and of course all the pretties to make me want to sit down and tackle the budget. So many great products and all the creative labels! My pantry is next on my list. Can't wait.
Posted by: Lynn | February 9th, 2012 at 7:07 am
I was in Staples last month and spent about an hour just browsing through all the new products. My favorite was the way you can stack the trays to confirm to your personal needs. Very clever & so Martha!

I would use the Avery products to organize the desk in my kitchen and hopefully reclaim my counter space.
Posted by: Tracy Paner | February 9th, 2012 at 7:51 am
Wonderful home office products! The stacking of boxes with that great label system will organize not only my office but my craft items for art, stamping, ect. The colors are soft with the feel of clear mind and organization. I can see the results of the storage system; giving a nicely organized down sized look of things that can overwhelm many in our fast moving world. I would love to win this one!

I would buy storage containers and magazine holders to freshen the shelves in my new craft studio.

I will definitely check out this line of products. I am on the planning committee for a hospital reunion each year and the name tags we use always come off!! We need something that will stick to all types of clothing fabrics!! My husband needs magazine holders, so those will be on the list to check out, also. We love anything "Martha". Always a good value and made well.
Posted by: Pearl Poss | February 9th, 2012 at 8:17 am
I just love the labels, both the chalk labels and the round labels. I envision many uses for them.I am especially excited about the magazine organizers, as I need to organize my magazines into much nicer looking containers than I have. Actually, my ancient office needs help-and to have one like Martha's Home Office would be the bees knees!!
Posted by: Gail Hildreth | February 9th, 2012 at 8:20 am
Love the colors! My desk is a hodgepodge of mismatched folders and boring organizers. I'm redoing the whole thing. Thanks Martha

My family and I (husband of 21 yrs and three sons age 16,14 and 9) are planning a trip to the southwest for 2 weeks. We will visit the states of Arizona,Utah,Nevada and California. The journal would be a great addition to the trip. It won't be too long before the oldest is off to college so I want to preserve the memories of this special time!

I love this line! I enjoy incorporating Martha Stewart items in my home! Always useful and in good taste too! I can't wait to get started with the Binder and incorporating the inserts to keep me organized. (and those great labels...the chalkboard label is awesome AND the labels for the fridge and freezer will be great!)

These new organizing solutions would be great for my small business! Most of the time, my supplies are utilitarian to keep the budget in line, but these binders and accessories are both affordable and stylish! I can't wait to visit my customers with one of these under my arm!
Posted by: Laura | February 9th, 2012 at 9:44 am
I went to my local Staples to look at these products the second I saw your first blog about them, Martha! I'd love to have a big binder to organize my coupons in. Or maybe just the Good Things notebook so I could be inspired by you daily
Love, Jane

I plan to utilize many of these products. High on my list are: organizing my past issues of MSL magazines in the neat magazine holders, using the freezer labels to better organize my freezer better, chalk labels for my craft room and for my grandkids toy bins. Hi Martha, Wow! How great to see so many comments already this morning for this terrific blog about your new products available at Staples! I can't wait to go there and see all of your new supplies and buy whatever I need! These photos are fantastic and you and your partners look so happy and the customers do, also! How nice that you spent time answering their questions just like you do on your great TV Shows! Loved seeing your new tweet about being in Brussels-thanks! Can't wait to see more tweets! Have you ever had XSS Filter on your computer? I had it for 8 days and my brother finally got it removed last night after downloading Mozilla Firefox! Thank God everything works great now! Hope you have a great day in Brussels today! Jan

I really like the idea of labels with chalkboard concept. They would be great to use in the kitchen or bathroom for the kiddos. The accordion folders would be a huge help for a quick cleanup and to keep miscellaneous papers all together:)

These products are really great! I love the notebook that I have from this line it is just perfect for making notes and plans. I really like the notes in the back, with different resources listed for party planning.
If I won I would reorganize my office to be more functional as well as more beautiful by incorporating attractive colors.

I checked out the new line at Staples and it looks great. You’re going to help me get organized in 2012! Bought folders, labels and filing folders. The desktop organization system is amazing. That will be next on my list. Glad you just keep coming up with new ideas.
Posted by: Brian | February 9th, 2012 at 11:12 am
Congratulations first of all. Knowing what great products you already put out, Im sure this will be another successful venture for both you and Staples. As for me, I really need a good organizer. I have a calendar in one place on my desk, notes in another. It would be great to have one item to go to. I also like the accordion folder for all the important papers. That was a great question. I loved the chalkboard labels too. So creative.
Posted by: mona c | February 9th, 2012 at 11:13 am
The desk in my kitchen is a mess; it was designed with the desk to be more organized. It is not working in its current condition! I will be going over to Staples to see what I could use from this line to help me get this area organized!!

I have a whole storage space i need to get organized. Since I'm always rearranging stuff in it that I use for my blog (www.thedecoratedtree.blogpot.com), I think the chalkboard labels would be great to list items to clue me in on the box contents so things will be easier to find.

Hi Martha,
So many nice comments already but that is understandable because your Home Office with Avery line is quite fabulous. I’ve already purchased a few things but I NEED more. I especially want a journal and more of those compartments for the top of my desk accessory. I love what I have so for – here’s a picture: http://www.flickr.com/photos/17621246@N06/6846565465/in/photostream Thanks for always coming out with top-of-the-line products in such great colors. Hi Martha! So glad to hear about your new office accessories line! I've been recently sorting through boxes of papers and thinking, these need to be in a filing system! My other thoughts were focused on a stylish solution for a desktop organizer that looks good and keeps frequently used items at the ready. Its like you have been reading my mind! With my creative business i definitely need to be better organized! I will definitely be shopping your products to kick off my filing system! I am going to file your new line of fantastic products under F for Fantastic Storage Solutions! Thanks again Martha for being innovative in all your endeavors!

To Start with, I would label all of my containers in my pantry. Then I would label my notebooks and files in my office. I would use the folders for my client's presentations. The journal would be great to use when I'm meeting with clients to keep their questions in and for me to keep ideas for their project during our meeting.
Posted by: Laura Rock | February 9th, 2012 at 11:36 am
This has been my year to get organized, so I would definitely put those office goods to use! I've been stalking my local Staples, just waiting. Up first: organizing my magazine collection into magazine files. Then: onto papers.

As a dietitian with a Type A personality I truly love an organized kitchen. I could use many of these products to teach my patients how to better organize their kitchens - everything from recipes, meal plans, shopping lists, coupons, food intake trackers, and ingredients! All that beautiful organization is sure to inspire some healthy meals made at home.

I would organize my craft/sewing station in my home. I love all things Martha!
Posted by: Karen M. | February 9th, 2012 at 12:33 pm
I'm super organized, so anything that helps in that area is great. What I'd really like to see are items from Martha's and my past: old fashioned summer and winter bedspreads (not comforters)that make bed making easier. No dust ruffles, bed skirts, pillow shams, and other clutter. It won't help to put a label on a sham or ruffle.
I'd also like to see Priscilla curtains, pinch pleated draperies, and traverse rods.
C'mon, Martha, you remember these items. Bring them back!
Posted by: Kate | February 9th, 2012 at 12:33 pm
I would use this for the Flylady control journal. Plus this is my favorite color, Martha Stewart turquoise.

I think the MSL Home office and Avery line of products is facinating. As a project assitant, I value the planning and the serene colors in the line. To perform well you must feel well and a calm surrounding is part of that.
Thanks Martha and MSL designers!

I have never heard of chalkboard labels. I see this for my office (yes, things change that quickly around here.) Anything in the soothing color of mint would probably be a good idea, too.

Products came out at the perfect time. I was the first customer to purchase items at the Staples near Wilmington,De. In fact I was grabbing things as the clerks were assembling the display. Page protectors, binders, and boxes have been extremely helpful with sorting and organizing photos and documents. I especially like the fact that products are of an archival quality. The four pocket secure-top sheet protectors are my favorite for sorting small photographs. I am looking forward to additional products.
Posted by: Karen Ross | February 9th, 2012 at 1:07 pm
The labels are amazing, and so many to choose from. When looking over the line, another shopper and I got into a discussion on how we love everything Martha. She was buying assorted labels and I bought a weekly organizer calendar for the fridge. love it.

Hi, there, Martha,
I'm excited to go see what's available at my Staples. What I'm excited about most, however, is the recognition that running the home is like running a small business which needs a dedicated space and organization to be productive and efficient. The old term "home economics" still applies because the family's income does turn into sustenance, a roof over one's head, transportation, and all the elements that teach us how to control and improve our lives. Thank you for that!
Posted by: Bobbie | February 9th, 2012 at 1:13 pm
Awesome, only thing that would make them better is Flamingo Pink!

Hi Martha! I am disabled and rely on a wheel chair for mobility. I have a lot of things going on, my disability claims, my doctors, my appointments as well as my household bills and such. Organization is not my strongest suit. Looking over these products inspired me to the fact that if I were ever to get organized these could help me tremendously! I could formulate a system that will be neat, easy and accessible! Thank you for the opportunity, Martha!

I am an office supply junkie! love the chalkboard labels to use on snack jars in the kitchen, or other containers whose contents frequently change. I always love the colors on the MS products, and Avery is my go-to for supplies. This could be the impetus to really get myself organized (my desk is a sad, sad place right now) and get tidy storage for my magazines and periodicals!

Love the chalkboard labels! (And knowing the hottest new color is mint!)

I am in Staples minimum once a week and when I saw your new products & put my hands on them - I went crazy! They are attractive and very well made.
We are moving in a month and I'm working hard to have all our files and records organized and move-ready. Your awesome new products are making it easy & stylish!

I work from my home… and let me say it is a DISASTER! The fact that I'm a designer and my workplace is a huge hodgepodge drives me nuts. I really need to do something about it. You're welcome to come and do an intervention/redesign {lol… not really kidding here}. Love the chalkboard labels! Can't wait to go shop!

Martha, Love the look of your new line. Your magical touch makes everything you touch "turn to gold". A belated congratulations on the honor bestowed you by the Olana Partnership. My much beloved mother-in-law, from Catskill, NY, took us there on a tour with her Literary Club a few years ago, and it is a beautiful place. I will try to find and post the photo taken of our group standing on the property with the Hudson Valley in the background.
I love your show, and talk about it to my friends all the time. It's so much fun! You're terrific!!
Posted by: Debbie Hawthorne | February 9th, 2012 at 1:48 pm
Martha,
You inspire me all the time to try new things! I watch your show all the time and I always learn something new. If I win these products, it would most definitely help me in my quest to get more organized!!!! As usual, you have created something that is absolutely stunning!
Posted by: Angel | February 9th, 2012 at 1:48 pm
Oh, even my craft room would sing praises. I have things in tubs, in notebooks, under the desk, on the floor, on rods, stacked in PILES, and I just can't seem to get it in order! If I could upload a photo of the dungeon-room, I would! Oh, what I would do to get organized, and anything of Martha's has to be superior of quality! Functional AND Coordinating? I would then have to re-do my whole home! Love those round labels for my spice jars, too!
Pick me, Martha! Pick me!
Posted by: Shelley Echtle | February 9th, 2012 at 1:49 pm
I have the original 72 spice rack and spice cans (NOT the original spices, however) and the labels are in a state of MUCH MUCH needed updating. Since I alphabetize the spices I know where most are even though I can't read them. The new labels will CERTAINLY come in handy. Also, I have a small private catering/baking business and the binders and notebooks will be perfect for me as I present a suggested menu for each 'job' and put each in an individual notebook with plastic sheets for a history and easy reference while preparing and having onsite for expenses, etc. Thanks for the great products.

I really love the colors of the line. It's beachy and calming. If I won the giveaway with the $25 card I would buy some products I have been wanting but not needing, namely clear overhead sheets. I have a project that isn't done because I need a few. lol.
I like staying organized and I have kept a planner every year for the past three years. (This year is the fourth.) Martha is always an inspiration when it comes to organizing.
Thank you for the ideas, Martha.

If you could only see my office and how much I need to be organized! Yikes! I did take an idea of yours while looking at your blog a couple of months ago. You had a picture of a dry erase board as your daily to do list? Anyway, I bought one and it has helped to keep me on track - now to organize all my paperwork!
Have a good day! Janis

If I were to win, I would put them to use organizing the material/information/documentation I have for the several non-profits I am involved with. Each Board has lots of papers and notes to keep organized.
PICK ME! I am a fixed income senior HELP!!!

I would take the office out of the kitchen which would do two things..or more....Clean up my kitchen which would take the stress out of that room for both me and my children. These are papers that only I really need to see. The kitchen is to be a place for comfort. I would put my papers in my "desk" area which would be more pleasing and organized. There would be a place of calm in two rooms in the house. I think the colors will go great with my Marta Stewart River floor tile...Yes I have been working on these rooms for a long time but it is not always easy when you are a single mom and the sole provider. So excited about this new line by Martha available at Staples! Stylish, efficient and affordable. Perfect timing - we are in the middle of a reorganization home improvement project. Adding a pantry, creating a craft space and reorganizing our home office. "Martha Stewart" is a brand we can always count on to be the very best quality for our money. I need to do some major organizing and and storing. I need to label storage as well. There is a lot small things that need homes in my office!
Posted by: Lauren R | February 9th, 2012 at 2:02 pm
I may have already commented elsewhere but I can't tell you how excited I am about this latest line of labels, especially after spending a long time (on eBay and through various retail outlets) trying to find some retro-style red-bordered labels for some pantry jars and coming up short.
I wrote the book on pantries, literally! [THE PANTRY-Its History and Modern Uses: Gibbs Smith, 2007] and am currently organizing a small farm cottage pantry that I designed. With a crashing mouse problem (as we are not always in the house as it is our guest house/larger canning kitchen/my office), I need to put everything in glass jars.
So heading to the nearest STAPLES near us in south-central Kentucky as soon as possible for a complete organizational Martha fix!
All best,
Catherine Pond

This is my first time on a blog so I'm not sure how this works. I am very interested in the new line of office products. What would I do with them? I would organize our family's home office/desk area in the house. It could really use a makeover. The desk is very old and about 6 foot by 4 foot and holds a lot but most of it is in disarray. Enjoyed my visit here.

We had already purchased the colour coded labels for our tea drawer. Eat type of tea (green, chai, black, roobois) is organized in a glass jar with a specific colour coded label. Keeps everthing neat and organized and looks fabulous in the jar!

I always get my husband upset because I have "Papers all over". I teach Yoga and English AS A Second Language so it is a challenge to keep it together. In addition, I am a Notary Public and I perform wedding ceremonies so I have a lot of legal documents that need to be organized, too.
Posted by: Annette Hendricks | February 9th, 2012 at 2:15 pm
I am on a quest to organize for once and for all, turning my current "junk" room into my home office--hopefully, the most organized room in my house. I definitely can use your Stack & Fit organizers and filing pockets most. But I think the most genius product I can't wait to use is your Dry Erase Decals. I'd use them as labels for things that don't always stay the same. I'll have to go to Staples and check out the whole line.
Posted by: Coreen T | February 9th, 2012 at 2:15 pm
I would probably use it in one of my journals or handmade mini albums where I document our life and record precious memories. I may also save a few labels for the next time my husband asks me to label an appliance at home...
Posted by: Avital | February 9th, 2012 at 2:16 pm

Posted by: Donna Hyland | February 9th, 2012 at 2:18 pm
To be honest, I'd organize my life! In the middle of having to become legal guardians and gain conservatorship for both of my parents who are both suffering dementia. Papers have already been filed, only because their health and safety are at risk, and my family and I now will be managing not only their health but also their finances. I so need to get organized, due to needing to document everything and have all of our activities concernng them periodically checked by the court to make sure everything is in order and in their best interest. More than willing to take this on since they did so much for me growing up, just can't imagine finding the time to do this properly and not lose any important documents! And, I love Staples and there is a Staples less than a mile from the facility my mother is currently in; would be so easy to make a quick stop between visits! Thanks for the opportunity to possibly win this contest!

Martha,
I buy accordion files each year to store tax receipts, monthly bills, medical records, and prescription receipts. Your files are so much more attractive and colorful than what I have previously been able to find; I will definitely be using your new Avery ones now. Also, your "pantry pockets" on Staples' website will be a great help to me, looking professional-and so much nicer- than all of the pieces of tape I use (on the inside of my pantry door) to affix important paperwork I need to have at my fingertips. The large Shagreen pocket in white will blend into the door seamlessly. My wife has her eye on your beautiful blue shagreen storage boxes for her closet organization. Many thanks for this great new line of products!

What a fabulous collection! I am in the process of creating several streams of income and remodeling my home office. Your collection is exactly what I need to make a phenomenal office and success of my new ideas. Turns out losing my job last December was a catalyst to great new adventures. Thank you for your many talents and gifts you share, Martha!

Love all the Avery products. And have vowed to get organized this year!
Posted by: Sally haddox | February 9th, 2012 at 2:31 pm
These products are very sleek, beautiful, and elegant! If I were the lucky winner of this package, I would be able to get my very dis-organized desk and craft cabinet organized! I would also be able to use the journal to keep track of the MS Punch Around the Page sets that I have, as well as the other MS punches that I have, so that I don't buy them twice, but, instead buy new punch sets! I could keep my MS paints listed in the journal, by type (glitter, satin, metallic, etc) and color. I would be able to sort my beautiful MS papers, instead of having to leaf through them each time I am looking for a certain color. And since my crafting area is in a room that must be shared with my husband and his office work, I would be ale to get his desk organized with his business files and papers, and we could have all of our warranties and instruction books organized!

I was so excited to see the pull-out in Living Magazine for the Martha Avery Collection, I have already planned a trip to staples for this Saturday to make my first purchases. I am a graduate student living in a typical student apartment - tiny! Because of this, organization is very important to me. I would use the Stack & Fit trays on my desk to make the most of vertical space, and I would label and colour-code EVERYTHING! The red and blue pieces would go particularly well with my decor (such as it is).
Posted by: Jeanette Bruce | February 9th, 2012 at 2:42 pm

Love, the vertical file folders. I just hired a professional organizer to help me with the organizing and cataloging of many items in my home in NJ. My husnad passed away last year and there are many things that need valuation as well as a home. I have 10 iphone chargers, 3 binoculars...not to mention a lot of history. I see the labeling will help the organizer as well of som eof the key items like the vertical folders.

My home office/workshop really needs help re organization! If I won, I would use the Shagreen magazine file to hold the tons of magazines that I get (and need to hide!) and I'd use the Shagreen Journal to write down all the ideas I have for my blog. I'd use the chalkboard labels for all the craft items I have in my office - so I can find things that I need easily. Once my workshop/office is organized with Martha's products 1) I would take pictures and blog about the transformation and 2) I would link up my workshop/office transformation to as many DIY and Mommy blogs as possible. It would be quite the Before and After!

I really love all of your products. I DVR your show every day and watch a few episodes at a time. I love your craft room setup and organization on the set as well as the pictures of the ones in your homes. I used to be very organized and for some reason things have been falling apart lately. I live in an old house with very little storage and am always longing for some attractive yet efficient ways for organization and storage. I would love to win and try some of your new product line with Staples and Avery. Being a stay-at-home mom and wife and volunteer at my daughter's school through the PTA and in the classroom, my budget is pretty strict but your products are always on my wishlists!

Martha. I will make this short as I can. I have bi polar and have not been able to function in my everyday life. My wonderful husband has been taking care of our finances and what he calls his organized system. Over the last 6 years. I finally have had a major break through with my new doctor and now am able to function, to help him get things organized, to help free our lives from so much stress. One thing I love is pretty things, they make me smile, you make me smile with all the soft colors you have provided for us to have, everything I want, and need. I do not have a desk, just an old fashion table that we do our business on instead of every corner of the house.
( my husbands organization ).
Even if I don't get picked, thank you so much for the beauty you bring to our everyday life, with desk organizers, trays, labels, I could go on. I am going to enjoy your products. So happy that I can nOw play a part and help get my home back in order. You shows on Tv show also gives us so many awesome ideas. Thank you Martha.

Dear Martha,
Just went to Staples last night and spent over $100 for my new home office. LOVE LOVE LOVE your new line at Staples. This morning already organized all of my paperwork into my new lovely light blue binder which feels like a light suede. Using the plastic accordian folder with the flap, the lovely brown heavy duty accordian folder, and the smaller sized plastic one as well.
The desk accessories are very nice as well. Purchased the horizontal drawer with the paper tray on top, a few of the cute brown boxes w/ and without lids, pencil holder, and one of the brown magazine box holders.
I explained to my friend that you are so brilliant in that you have been wanting and waiting for 3M to make you your own sticky notes forever! So, I told her that you visited their company, and made it happen! WINNING! Also explained that they way Martha works is that if she doesn't find what she needs at a store, you either make it yourself, or have the smartest idea of working with companies to find a way to make the product that you and your staff need to make your lives easier. Hence, you know that many of us out here would love to use it ourselves.
I also got some perfect little labels for my storage boxes, the round blue key tags to label my wires and other items, and the really cool white board that has a beautious cutout with border for my fridge.
Just one thing, can you please make a line of your gorgeous "blue" pens in ink, marker, pencils, etc.? That would be fabulous!

I have been knitting and crocheting scarves and hats for the community vented at church in our town. They have been turning in requests for sizes and ages of those needing them on random scraps of paper. I am currently writing them in a pocket memo pad, but I admit these would look nicer.

After a chaotic relocation and a couple of additional moves over the past 3 years, we are finally settling into a home....and are finally getting organized! I have been looking for the perfect home office organizers to help organize my children's schoolwork and can't wait to see what you have available. Also, those chalkboard sticker labels are exactly what I've been looking for to organize my new glass food storage jars.

Loving your new line at Staples. Went last night and purchased a bunch of items. Explained to my friend that what Martha wants, Martha gets! I work from home a lot and being able to stay organized but also look great is important in the items I choose to decorate my home office. My home "office" is in my living room so this is critical! The MS collection would be great for this!
Posted by: Jen Mc | February 9th, 2012 at 4:27 pm
Martha...the office supplies are fabulous...attractive and very functional. I've purchased an incredible amount. And, yes, they are available in Canada. I had been told otherwise by Staples online so perhaps this will clear up that misguided information!

I have been pouring over the mini catalog in the March issue like it's the Sear's Christmas Toy catalog! I definitely need some journals and those dry-erase clings. I'm building a binder for all of my kitchen appliance manuals and warranties, so I would get everything color coordinated!! So exciting! Thank you Martha, for always making supplies seem like the first day of school!
Posted by: Catherine Porche | February 9th, 2012 at 4:51 pm
I'd buy some more of the removable dry-erase stickers. I got one on Tuesday and I love that it's the perfect shade of red and, unlike our last dry-erase board, can't fall off it the fridge door is slammed too hard, and doesn't have a frame where the dry-erase dust goes to hide and avoid all attempts at being cleaned!

First,I have to tell you I am an avid Martha Stewart fan. Now second,I have to go to Staples and buy a chalkboard so I can try your new labels. I need them to leave love notes to my husband of 52 yrs. and the rest of my family.I need a little organization in my bedroom also. I may find some ideas per se to transform my bedroom back to a little normalcy. Bottom line, I'm not as organized as I would like. And can you imagine I was elected to label the cupboard at church so less time was used to finish up kitchen events. And I know your new labels will not mar the finish on our cupboards. I heart you Marty and that is a good thing..Sincerly, Elaine LePage

I love all of Martha's Collections. I am a college student going for my nursing degree. Currently living with my mother, in order to afford college, there is a small extra bedroom with a skinny table which I use for a desk. It is too small to have my books open, and a notebook to write in. I would love anything that would help with providing a good study environment.
Posted by: Mallory Gray | February 9th, 2012 at 5:40 pm
Martha,
I think these are grand. My go to place is Staples. They have never, never, never let me down. Terrific store. AND now you are there. Wonderful. You can never have too many office supply products--especially when they are not black!
Good Job Guys.
Posted by: Margie | February 9th, 2012 at 5:52 pm
Oops, and well duh. I forgot to say what I would use them for. Well of course label things and then relabel when I needed to. Please come up with some classy file folders so I can quickly find specific files when stacked high on my table. Kinda like those color attracting resumes when the main stack is all one color.
Thanks again.

What a wonderful collection! I just bought a new file cabinet from Staples and the accordian file would be a handy addition to help keep my financial records in good order, especially as April 15 approaches. I love the cool colors for the collection! Very calming.

Hi Martha,
I have just recently started watching your show, you are everything your legend says...
I love cooking and also just discovered my love of the land and growing my own vegetables.
I also work fulltime, and have 4 older children, two who are still going to school...I would use the Martha Stewart products to organise my own references, recipes, garden hints, and would also give to my children to use as well.
I see you are currently in Brussells, which is on the other side of the world to me as I live in Melbourne, australia.
Take care
Mark Dixon

My home office could really use some help, but before that happens we'll be moving. So I'm SURE I could put good use to many of these products during my sorting, packing, yard-saleing,and ultimately organizing my NEW home office!

I would organize my blog paper work. Right now I have it stored in a big canvas bag. I have notebooks and binders of a mis matched pile. Papers and notes out of order. It doesn't help my productivity being un organized.

I went to Staples today to see the new Martha Line. I love it! I want everything. I loved the chalkboard labels and the desk organizers. I would label my canisters with the chalkboard labels and use the desk organizer to organize my desk at work. What I think would be awesome to see is if Martha came out with a line of her products for the Staples arc systems notebooks. I am obsessed with them so the combination would be awesome!

Posted by: Kevin Pettit-Pokora | February 9th, 2012 at 10:25 pm
I absolutely love the collection, love the colors of all the products. I bought the black and white file folders to organize a basket full of mail that was piled up on my kitchen counter. I organized the mail in the folders in the current basket and it looks beautiful, especially since the color matches with other accessories in the kitchen. I also, bought the pockets that can attach to a wall or inside of the cabinets in which I did and put in take out menus, the kids school directories, the box tops we collect and it's all out of sight in the kitchen cabinets. Now, I will use the 30% coupon to buy even more organizing supplies...YAY!!!

I love it!! Yesterday I just so happened to be looking at staples online for file folders and noticed Martha Stewarts awesome collection, which then lead me to the rest of her items. The box sets are perfect for me to organize my drawers as they are pretty slim so they should fit perfectly. And the colors work so well together! Now all my drawers won't have sheets of paper flying around everywhere(with those inboxes). Also, I love all the items for the slim good looking binders. I've been looking for a while at staples for some good looking binders but the best I could find were plain black. These binders look great and also the dividers match perfectly and have such unique cuts on them.
Needless to say I was looking for a few folders and ended up purchasing 10 boxes & trays, a binder, binder tabs, dividers, protectors, paper, labels (for files & kitchen containers), bands, 36 file folders, a magazine holder, 2 inboxes, and 2 sets of stickies! I can't wait to receive them! Such great motivation to get organized!!

Last week I sought out the Staples store in the next town to find the Martha products. I need to organize all my printed and magazine recipes. I purchased three of the red binders, perfect for my kitchen shelf! I would use the gift card to get more supplies to keep organizing my kitchen, labels, index tabs, the great chalkboard stickers, etc. I also LOVE journals, I fill them with the daily life of a mom with twin 11 year old boys!
Posted by: Rani | February 9th, 2012 at 11:56 pm
Oh how I've been waiting for Martha to come out with something such as this! It looks so straight forward and clean. I can hardly wait to get started organizing the desks, desk armoire and craft station in my home. Not to mention my office at work. With bills, Dr appointments and other obligations this system will be a welcome help. What a beautiful collection. So looking forward to this.

First of all, Staples is the BEST office supply store and I do recommend it to find the best ideas and supplies. The new binders will be nice for collections like magazine articles, recipes, and health notes. I suggest spiral notebooks to everyone I work with so they can stay organized with their notes from phone calls, reminders, to-do lists, and everything! I will use them for this and will give them as gifts. The kraft labels will be used on all my craft projects. Thanks, Martha! Love the colors.

I love Martha Stewart products and I love office supplies. So, combining the two is great. I am an avid crafter and a busy state employee, working to help protect the environment. I am constantly trying to organize home and office to try to have as much time as possible for my crafting. So I am sure theseMS Avery products from Staples would be a big help!

So glad to see that Avery, Martha Stewart, and Staples have brought back the smaller binder and its supplies. I love to use that size for organizing my To Do Lists. I can rearrange my lists by priority. Love the binder colors that Martha picked. I plan to keep the smaller size binder on my kitchen island for easy access.

So excited about this new line from Martha Stewart. Stylish, efficient and affordable. Perfect timing - our current home improvement project is reorganizing the home office, creating a craft space and adding a pantry. I would love to be a winner in your drawing! This would give me another reason to stay organized.
Posted by: C Cullen | February 10th, 2012 at 12:11 pm
This new line is beautiful! My workspace has become a mishmash of cardbord boxes and overused files! The journal gave me the idea of using it to keep all my passwords and id numbers in for websites. I can never keep track of all those. Also, I LOVE the chalkboard labels! I have already counted 15 containers that would still be looking nice if the labels I had previously used could have been erased when the contents changed.
Can't wait to head out to Stapels and see it all first hand!

Super excited about the freezer labels. Been looking for such a product for about 6 months with no luck. Got my March edition of MSL and voila! You've got 'em! Yay!
Posted by: Laura | February 10th, 2012 at 3:52 pm
To all at MSL, I have already purchased the waterproof labels to apply to my pantry shelves to label home canned goods, the elastiNote tags to identify christmas light strings and greenery, the removable color-coding labels to label containers for makeup and lotions in my travel bag, and the 8 pocket accordion file to organize coupons and dining offers in my purse. I am especially interested in the Premium Shagreen Binder to organize our upcoming remodeling projects this spring. Thank you for always offering quality products for consumers. Pam Kritcher

I love the soothing colors of these new products. I will use them to help me organize my paperwork (which I hate doing!!!). Thanks Martha
Posted by: Nancy | February 10th, 2012 at 6:43 pm
Of course it took Martha Stewart to realize that women want more choices when it comes to their planning and organization. We're tired of the boring, manly colors! Love the selection, ability to customize and of course, the colors!

What wouldn't I do with Martha Stewart's new line of office products?!?! As an apartment manager, I would use the binders, files, labels, and pockets to organize and manage maintenance requests and rent payments. At home, I would use them to create and maintain my own organized home files, organize my pantry, organize my craft supplies, etc!

Hello!
My name is Maria, but...at home, my kids and my husband call me "Martha". Why? Because I LOVE everything around you! And what is going to happen now? That with this lovely Avery products my home is going to be "Martha's home" because I will buy as much as I can to put everything in order, beginning with the kitchen and finishing with the bathrooms. And...by the way, something new is going to help me for doing that: the new issue "Organizing" that I have just bought! Thanks a lot for helping us to put everything in order (and also, our minds!).

Posted by: Sara | February 10th, 2012 at 10:25 pm
As usual, your products are well thought out. I am continually attempting to organize my little craft room in the basement and recently moved my gift and wrapping station to a very small loft in my television room. At this time it would be a Martha nightmare! I am looking forward to making these areas beautiful as well as more functional. I will be hosting a garden wedding in July and have many MSL inspired ideas I hope to incorporate. You have helped many of us lead a better life. Thank you for sharing your ideas, your life and making excellent products which enable us to do the same.

Mr. Parneros and the leadership at Staples are some of the smartest people I know! This is the first largest comprehensive collection of good looking office supplies and furniture I have ever seen (correct me if I am wrong). It is groundbreaking! A breath of fresh air! I understand the hard work that went into it - everything at Martha Stewart is always above and beyond expectations, excellence personnified. This is the perfect addition to the Martha Stewart line. My "craft and technology" room is in need of serious organization. Currently, it is filled with what I call "creative clutter". I think I'll get started before the drawing even takes place!

I was flipping through my new subscription to Whole Living and came across the Martha Stewart Home Office with Avery insert. We recently have been trying to become more organized with weekly meal planning and targeted shopping trips using our coupons. The weekly planning dry erase decals are perfect way to do that in a an attractive organized way. I also really like smaller accordion file for my small items such as gift cards and coupons in convenient size to carry with me.

I'm so excited, looking forward to purchasing these products to organize my life. Martha does everything with style. Thanks Staples for bringing her on board with her signature office items.

Love the items--of course!! I love everything Martha.
I need to create a home office ASAP. I have everything at work and now I want it all home.

I've just moved into an apartment, in addition to downsizing, I have appropriated the second bedroom as my little haven/office --- right now it is a disaster area, but I will have a place to create once again. (It's been about 10 years since I gave up my last studio.) I am still searching out ideas to make it the most delightful, creative, organized space ever.
I love everything Martha, who doesn't???
Winning would go a long way toward making the space truly special!

Labels, tags, boxes, binders, folders...Oh My!!! I did not know that Martha Stewart had paired up with Staples until I visited my local Staples and started wandering around, as I love to do in this store. What I especially liked about the line is that simple items that have been around forever in plain vanilla, have been updated in such a way that they will not only make my home office look better, but they have crossed the line and can now be used all around the home. What used to be simple little manilla tags on a string, will now become part of my gift wrapping because of the wonderful color selection. I could go on and on, but I think you understand. Congratulations on your new relationship.

I am thrilled with the file folders with the tabs at the top! I have wondered for years why no one had thought of that, and was stuck using the old file folders with the tabs on the side. So simple, yet no one was smart enough to think of it until Martha! I am an HR manager and have more files than are imaginable but I can use these in the standing file boxes which will take up far less desk space than the holders for regular file folders.Whoopeee.........thanks!

I have been living with my fiance and two of his college football buddies for over 2 years. We are moving out in March and this is going to be my time to completely reorganize everything in our lives. I will have my own office space and will have the ability to use many of the folders and filing supplies and many of the desk organizational products so we can stop using the awesome old beer mug for all my pens and markers.
The new tags to label everything will come in very handy and I'm so in love with the chalkboard labels and will be using many of them in my new kitchen. Add to this all the awesome Martha Stewart kitchenware that I'm registered for at Macy's and I will be ready for anything. Thank you Martha! You have so many great things that I can use.

Finally get organized! I have a day job and my own business on the side. The business seems to be taking over my home and I'd like to organize it and keep it in it's place so that when I'm not working, I can relax and not see my work encroaching on my free time.

I have been an active cook and canner for many years, and have recently started selling many of my creations to family and friends. As my little cottage business grows I need more room and definitely better organization!! I have taken over my youngest daughter's old bedroom (after she graduated from college), and with the bed still in there, it's a mess.
I shop at Staples all the time for Avery labels to use on my jars and love them!! They make everything look so professional!! I am soooo excited to see the Martha Stewart office collection!!
A genuine heartfelt Thanks Martha for all your wonderful products and for generously sharing your brilliance.

My husband is self-employed and 'not' a neat freak by no means! I would use this to help try and get his office into a presentable place.

I just came back from Staples to buy office supplies for this office at my corporation ... and I was delightfully surprised to find the prices on your products were so great!! I even got some for here to use because they were so practical and easy to use. Now I can go home and organize my home office in an orderly fashion, but first, hopefully I can win some of these products

I have already purchased one journal. I will use other products to label canisters in my kitchen, and highlight entries on my white-board.

I love office organization, and I love Martha Stewart products in general. I would use the products to whip my office at work into shape.

With 4 kids and being a stay home mom I never had my own space for my crafting supplies, nor did I have the inspiration to organize with the ordinary products out there.
But with the Martha Stewart products my supplies can be beautifully organized without the look of an ordinary bland office.

Usually getting organized, folding the sock and underwear drawer has been a relaxing chore. With a two year old, if I get the socks and underwear washed it's a feet. I would love to have the tools to get me excited about organizing again. I have a closet (used to be a room, but I've been downgraded to the closet since we needed the space for the baby) that is full of crafting supplies of various disciplines. Various tubs and shelving hold once precious supplies not sit idle waiting for my attention. I know the Martha Stewart line at Staples will give me the help I need to get organized again. ♥

I'm redoing my bedroom this June and it would be great to have some nice organizational items for my desk area!

This is the year that I would need all the help that I can get to organize my life. My and my fiance, yes we are getting married ♥ in August this year and for that I would also be so nice to have all my wedding ideas and supplies beautifully stored in Martha Stewart line, but the main reason for what I need the a whole lot of help with is organizing is: we bought my childhood house and we are giving it a total makeover to give it the style that fit the age of the house (its over a 100 years old and I'm the 16th generation living there) and so that we can work from home. So for me to get a working home office that looks nice without making it to office like, Martha Stewart line at Staples would help so much.

I have too many lists of organization projects and these ever so hip products would make the task fun! Between raising my two girls, running two businesses and a blog from a home office, systems to stay organized are very important. Thanks for the chance to win some great tools!

I would FINALLY organize my home office to give myself the jumping off point to start my own business. I was recently laid off from a "corporate" job and it's time to use my creativity and love of all things organization! Great products, Martha.

The first thing that I would do with these products would be organizing my mail. I currently have my mail all in one bin in the living room. I want to put up wall pockets and separate to pay, outgoing, catalogs, etc.
Secondly, I would try to organize my desk and schoolwork. Being a student and taking care of my own home as well as my mom's home, I have a ton of paperwork all over the place. I think that the weekly planner will help to organize my appointments and schedule with my mom's and sister's schedules.
I think these products will work wonderfully.

The chalk labels are just brilliant! I have been using them on all the plastic bins for my sons toys.Amazingly, he is able to read the label and keep everything organized.Yeah!!! Thank you so much for thinking of that!
P.S. I have also been using the canning labels which make finding canned food easier. I've printed on the brown labels and used them on bins in my storage area. Makes finding things efficient and easy. Can't wait to try more.
