This is MSLO executive assistant Katie Spear with Joe Schroeder - former CFO, BBDO-Atlanta. They rode with America By Bicycle and cycled 3,690 miles from Oregon to New Hampshire in the summer of 2010 and reunited in New York for this year’s Ride to Montauk. http://www.americabybicycle.com/
Jeanne Meyer - MSLO SVP of Communications, did the ride with several members of her triathlon team, all of whom are training for their next Ironman race later this summer - TJ, Tim, Marissa, Alex, Nick, Chris, Gunnar and Bill.
New York City's Penn Station was the starting point of Ride to Montauk.
Katie snapped this photo of Joe as they crossed the Williamsburg Bridge, heading to Brooklyn in the early morning light

The organizers had great rest stops and provided fresh fruit, Lara bars, water, and gatorade. At Watermill, mile 120, pie from Briermere farms was served. At the finish at the Montauk lighthouse, they offered beer from Blue Point Brewery, plus burgers, chicken, pasta, and ice cream.
That weekend, I was in East Hampton and took this photo with my Blackberry.
And this one, too - I felt a little guilty that I wasn't on a bicycle.
The finish! Jeanne says that the proof is in this Garmin read out - about 152-miles in 9-hours and 15-minutes - 8 hours of riding plus some rest stops - and 9,278 calories
At the end of the ride, hot portable showers were offered to all of the participants. Gym bags or backpacks were taken to the finish by the organizers.
Katie snapped this shot after the ride on the long trip home. The Long Island Railroad shuttled riders back to Manhattan. Bicycles were carried by truck.
