More Easter Photos For Your Enjoyment!
There were so many wonderful comments posted on yesterday's blog about my recent Easter celebration. Photographer, Douglas Friedman, has shared his photos on this blog in the past. Douglas was one of my guests on Easter and he took many wonderful photos, as well. Please enjoy a little bit more from last Sunday.
Kevin and Douglas wanted to go for a horseback ride, so I went down to the stable with them.
Meindert and Rutger were ready for the riders.
Rutger took a liking to Douglas.
Douglas looked good on Rutger.
Kevin looked like a seasoned rider on Meindert.
A selfie on horseback
Kevin brought fabulous baskets for Jude and Truman. The baskets were in the shape of geese - one black and one white.
One of the dishes served were hollowed-out artichokes.
The artichokes were filled with frisee and topped with a poached egg.
I spooned a caper-hollandaise sauce over the tops.

Pierre also made a smooth, pureed borscht, which was served in little cups.
