Cooking with One Pot at the New York City Wine and Food Festival!
Last week I was happy to participate in the New York City Wine & Food Festival. The event was a lot of fun and it was a great venue for teaching people how to make some of the recipes from my best-selling book, ‘One Pot: 120+ Easy Meals from Your Skillet, Slow Cooker, Stockpot, and More.’
My first event, ‘Cooking with One Pot: A Master Class,’ was held at the International Culinary Center. I taught everyone at the sold-out class how to make the Fruit Skillet Cake and Linguini with Tomato and Basil.
Following the class, guests got a signed copy of One Pot and a gift bag with the new issue of Martha Stewart Living and an oven mitt from my line at Macy’s.
If you don’t already have a copy of ‘One Pot,’ be sure to get one so you can start making these fantastic recipes!
1 One Pot is filled with more than 120 healthy and delicious recipes you can make using just one pot--which means less time in the kitchen cooking and cleaning up! I was very happy to teach 'Cooking with One Pot: A Master Class' at the International Culinary Center.
2 Here I am being introduced by Lee Brian Schrager, the creator of the New York City and South Beach Wine & Food Festivals. I was also asked to look at the camera for their video shoot!
3 In the kitchens of the International Culinary Center, this group of students got started on the Fruit Skillet Cake recipe from One Pot.
4 I had a really nice time chatting with everyone who came for the class. It was sold out!

9 After the One Pot Master Class, I headed uptown to Pier 94 to the main NYCWFF event space to host a Grand Tasting with Martha Stewart Living Chefs Thomas Joseph and Sarah Carey. Here we are with Devin Padgett, managing director of the NYCWFF Grand Tastings. We demonstrated three great recipes from One Pot including the Pressure Cooker Risotto, Skillet Macaroni and Cheese and Lamb and Apricot Stew.
10 Members of the audience watched the demonstration and took photos.
