New Bareback Pads for My Horses

As you all know, I am an avid horseback rider, and love to go out for rides on my Friesians. An important part of riding is making sure the horse has a well-fitted saddle or pad. When this equipment doesn’t fit properly, the horse is not happy and can actually experience all sorts of physical problems. This can also be a danger for a rider
if the horse is not comfortable with something on its back. My stable manager, Betsy Perreten, is always on the lookout for the best equipment, and keeps track of my horses’ needs.

Recently, it was time to replace our Natural Ride pads. Here are some photos of what they are, how they work, and why we use them here at Cantitoe Corners.
