Lots of fun packages delivered to my house
Martha Stewart Living has formed a relationship with Grandinroad to produce our favorite holiday decorations. You may recall that Halloween was certainly fun this year, with so many ghoulish delights. And now, Grandinroad is the place to visit once again to shop for charming and beautiful Christmas décor. Last week, several cartons arrived at the farm and my housekeeper, Laura Acuna, was put in charge of decorating my home. I really love all of these decorations and I will show you more photos once Laura is finished.
1 A shipment of products arrived from Grandinroad and the boxes were put in the garage of the gym building, awaiting to be unpacked.

Dear Martha,
I really enjoy your show. All my relatives have passed away and I really miss them and my children never got the chance to meet them. The women in our family were extrordinary and did all those homey things you do. I always find some of them in you and your show. In this crazy Me generation world I feel very grounded when I watch the show and I really get an old fashion boost. I have made you an honorary member of my family
So never change. I told my girls if I pass from this world as well and you need some advice. Martha will have the answer to all your home making needs. Thanks for everything.

I can't wait to see the finished product! If Laura needs any help I'd be happy to accommodate!
Setting up all those wonderful ornaments won't be a chore at all!

Dear Martha, beautiful and stylish collection. Lots of inspiration.
Our kids are coming from London for the holidays, the best gift ever. This is my favorite month Christmas spirit and my birthday on 17th.
Love it!

Laura has a huge task at hand …. WOW! Does she have a background in decorating or is she a “natural”? I just spent the past hour surfing on Grandinroad’s website and found a few items that I need to give some serious thought.
I decorated our tree with Martha Stewart ornaments and garland a few years ago and I got the most compliments than any other year before that.
I love the white moose collection, the cedar wreath, and the glittered birds and branches.
I'm like a kid at this time of year and I am so anxious to see your decorated photos! I think most of us are like children during this holiday.
Happy Holidays!

I love the houses, church, and school house. They remind me of the ones my Grandfather used when he built a village under the Christmas tree. Train tracks and all. I miss those times.

It's coincidental that you're featuring some of your Grandinroad products here today, as I was just moseyin' around on their website yesterday evening! It's really neat to see the products first-hand, as I viewed each and every one of them last nite. They are packaged very well, too, and one could save the original packaging if they wanted for future storage purposes.

Poor Laura, though...she has her work cutout for her with the task and responsibility of decorating! With all these goodies, where does one begin?! [giggle] Surely there'll be some helping hands (and paws!) to help reach some of the more difficult areas, and the moral support of Frannie-n-Sharkey, Vivaldi, 'Tang-n-'Peony is ALWAYS comforting as well as motivating when big projects loom!
~
Keep us posted on Laura's progress, Martha...I enjoy seeing your decorations inside as well as outside, especially in your gardens. (hint!...hint!)

Love the bottle brush trees my DH set some up under our feather Christmas tree. We also have quite an old collection of the little houses & churches but not enough space to display them. Love all the holiday inspirations featured on your show. I'm thinking of trying to add glitter to some of our decorations but first I have to clean up all the candy sprinkles that escaped from cucuidati cookie project. Best holiday wishes to you and all the dear people who make your projects a reality for us.

Hi Martha,
We love the Martha Stewart shooting star... although it is sold out at Grandinroad! Any suggestions on where I can find a star wire frame at this point in December???
Thank you!

Martha, since you seem to like "Christmas Villages," have you ever thought of doing a segment at Christmas on people who set up such villages in their homes. I ask this because I put up one every year that I have been building and adding to for the past 25 years. It has ski slopes, skating ponds, sledding slopes moving parade scenes, merry-go-rounds, ferris wheels,a flying santa and reindeers, plus much more. It takes me about four weekends to put up. I would love to see what other do, who have a passion for this.. Just a thought. Have a great day.

Hi Martha, What a fantastic assortment of Christmas items that cute little Laura had to unpackage and then put on display in your beautiful home. She sure did look happy opening all of those packages and I could see why because the items were all super Christmas items. How lucky you must feel having such a fabulous housekeeper. I can't wait to see all of the displays. Fantastic!!! Jan

I love the smaller buildings. I had never heard of Grandin Road before, but I went right there and ordered both sets of the smaller houses! I can't wait to get them!

Dear Martha,
I fell in love with the trio of moose from grandinroad, but when I checked the website, it was no longer available. I Am So Disappointed.

Dear Martha
I came to your blog hoping to see some pictures of your aluminum Christmas tree all done up. I saw your article from the Birmingham News on Faux trees and the rage they are becoming. I own two small aluminum trees myself. I have no idea if you ever check pictures on Flickr or not. There are many groups, photostreams, and people who display their photos. Check it out sometime, you won't be sorry. Flickr.com Under (people) once there I am CricketK1951. Won't you please stop in.
