We just got our iPad this morning! So excited!
Posted by: Connie Weiss | April 3rd, 2010 at 1:08 pm
Ha! I knew an iPad was in your future! Just remember all of the things that it CAN'T do: No Flash support (no watching Hulu for starters) No camera; No USB port; No ability to tether the device; No multi-tasking.
Other than that, have fun!!!

I think here in Australia we'll have to wait for Santa Claus to bring us our Ipads as they haven't been released here yet. I can't wait to get one!! I thought the Itouch was a beautiful thing but this just takes it all further. They are so beautiful and incredible - and futuristic. Are we really living like George and Jane Jetson in my life time? The car which flies and then packs into a suitcase must surely be next. Happy Easter Martha - I hope you have a really lovely day.

Hi Martha,
You must do a blog page and/or tv show on the ipad. Everyone including me loved your Easter Dinner blog page. It really communicated well and we are all just loving the new stuff you come up with. A truly talented soul always seems to come up with original material. You make us feel happy! Happy Easter!

Hi Martha, That Easter Bunny sure knows how to treat our wonderful Martha! How great that you got your ipad, which looks beautiful by the way and now you can test it out to see if it will be what you want to have for us be able to download your magazines, etc. The colors look beautiful! Have a wonderful Easter tomorrow. I look forward to your Sirius radio "At Martha's Table" on Monday. Hug all of your animals for me. Got to see your 'chicken show' at 2AM and loved every minute of it! Love, Jan

How wonderful! I have to share something funny that happened yesterday. I live in Covington, Georgia and we went to the Home Depot where they have the pretty new Martha Stewart Living Patio Furniture. In front of the lovely furniture there was a handmade magic marker sign that said-
"Martha Stewart's Living"...we laughed so hard! Glad to see that Martha is making a living!

I love ya' Martha; this has turned into IPAD convention; good for y'all; glad no one got hurt getting one; except the budget; our easter was refurbishing wooden bunny standup; we hung a wreath on our dining room light; met our new neighbors and kicked the can for a while; weather is beautiful; I know I'm not supposed to be a big fan but I am; I'd be doin' what you are doin' for sure; glad you escaped K-Mart deal; Mama's baking like its the first time she ever did; I wish U the very best year for health and wealth, pretty lady; Mucho,Mucho

Happy Easter Martha!
I love that you collect taxidermy! It's a huge interest of mine as well, particularly antiques. I'd love to see your collection featured one day.
Best wishes

oh what wonderful photos...I thought the bunny rabbit was real...then read about it being stuffed...how cool is that...and strange at the same time...now I never did get my Ipad for Easter!!! lucky you!!! whoever he is...he is a keeper....
Posted by: Diana Evans | April 4th, 2010 at 11:59 pm
Well I posted yesterday that I was envious already from your Easter dinner how lovely the house was - and then you get an iPad!!!
One thing - sorry but I am not a fan of tachydermy. It grosses me out to see such a beautiful animal killed and then stuffed!
Animal activist here! I am very surprised that you support it.
Posted by: Carmen | April 5th, 2010 at 12:19 am
Ooooh, so thats what the easter bunny is supposed to bring for us adults...! I need to get my easter treats. Thanks Martha!

Do have an IPad for me?
Posted by: Charmin | April 5th, 2010 at 8:28 am
Happy Easter! The day was like summer in the Philadelphia suburbs. We ate outside and played touch football and a bubbles game with my ten neices and nephews all day! I don't ever remember such a warm beautiful Easter in 45 years. My six neices and seven nephews loved my Martha inspired center piece. I dyed 20 hathced eggs red, purple and green. I placed them in a sky blue wire baseket stuffed with yellow and pink glycerin grass. Then I placed chicks inside the eggs to lay on the top of the grass. As Finbar said to me" Hatched eggs, Aunt Teresa!" Michael's Craft store had the supplies which I gathered from your centerpiece list. But to be honest, I found the chicks in a package there already prepared. After a day of baking coconut pie, cheesecake, and your handbook recipes for key lime pie and Pavlova, I bought the prepared chicks! Wishing you and your MSO family, a great springtime! Enjoy the IPAD and your Easter bunny.

The taxidermy bunny is unbelievable! Really well done. My boyfriend brought home an antique taxidermied puffin from a garage sale once. It wasn't so much "unbelieveable" as "unbelievably gross". It was a pretty pathetic Puffin.
Posted by: TheArtofDoingStuff - Karen | April 5th, 2010 at 10:27 am
Yay for the iPad!! Hope you love it.
Posted by: Missy | April 5th, 2010 at 11:53 am
I grew up with stuffed animals in the house and basement because we had a taxidermist in the family. No one would play with me when i was little...at least not inside my house. I guess it is one way to keep the memory of a beloved pet forever. The picture of your bunny on this blog page sort of gave me a start though. Thanks!

Hope you had a great Easter!
.
Martha...I think you should have folded that card up. It looks like you've got posters straining their eyes to see who your admirer is. LOL
.
Keep some of your privacy!
Posted by: Nan | April 5th, 2010 at 3:23 pm
I was going to make a funny comment on the taxidermy bunny, but then I remembered that one of my favorite pictures you have posted was of a red fox as road kill! Hope you had a wonderful Easter.
Posted by: Laurie | April 5th, 2010 at 4:12 pm
@Nan - If the card says "Steve" I'm pretty sure it'd be from Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple. Much more impressive than any old admirer and quite possibly the reason why the card's propped up for the photo.
Posted by: Kimberly | April 7th, 2010 at 7:09 am
You got quite the Easter Basket this year! My son (2nd grade B/G twins) said the funniest thing on the way to be dropped off to school. He asked me why a rabbits foot is considered 'good luck'. What was priceless was the expression on his face as he sat in his seat buckled in with backback on seatbelt surrounding, gazing out the window, in serious deep thought. As I thought of my response he quickly said "Wasn't good luck for the rabbit that lost his foot!" His twin sister said 'Yeah! Poor rabbit is hopping around with one foot now!" Priceless!

Hello Martha,
I realize I am a tad late to comment on this particular part of the site, but I wanted to let you know something. I live in Pittsburgh, was laid off from a customer service position, & just received the information I needed for a state position that I applied for. Thank the Lord. Your posts are so inspiring that I felt like spreading my good news also. Your weekend sounds like a wonderful haven. And I enjoy seeing all of your personal blogs. Thank you, Judy
