My Employees Gathered For a Valentine's Day Crafting Event!
You may recall a couple of years ago when we featured Maura Madden’s Valentine’s Day Crafternoon Party in Martha Stewart Living Magazine and the book she wrote called Crafternoon. Well, there are so many talented people who work at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia and we thought it would be really fun to invite everyone to get together for our own Valentine’s Day Crafternoon Party! As you may know, there are so many fabulous products in the Martha Stewart Crafts line at Michaels and the Martha Stewart Crafts line at Lion Brand Yarns. You can also find many of those products at my Web site by clicking here. We provided lots of these items for the Crafternoon event, which is a wonderful way to familiarize our staff with all of our great craft products. Gimbal’s Fine Candies, from San Francisco, generously provided delicious sweets for the candy bags. Many showed up for this crafting party and we hope to continue by having one every month.
1 On a recent sunny afternoon, employees gathered to participate in a Valentine's Day crafting event.
3 Great crafting supplies were provided from the Martha Stewart Crafts line available at many craft stores.
8 Cherry Lovers fruit chews are made with real cherry juice and are high in antioxidant vitamin C. In fact, Gimbal's candies are entirely allergen-free.
16 By using this fun Martha Stewart Crafts Glitter Eyelash yarn from Lion Brand, one can add color, sparkle, and texture to any craft project. http://marthastewart.lionbrand.com/marthaStewartCrafts/glittereyelash.html

What a fun place to work. I want a job with you, Martha!

Martha,
Thanks for sharing this blog. Lots of crafting going on. I love sour patch kids, so with sour lovers being sour on the inside too I'm tempted to try ording some. Have a thoughtfully thrilling Thursday!

Looks like you people had a lot of fun! Valentine's gift needs some creativity. How about putting your photo onto a real tree leaf, to make it a novel gift/craft product?

I can only imagine the wonderful Valentine creations made by your talented staff Martha! What a fun way to spend an afternoon and of course you can't have a Valentine craft party without candy! How are cute are Gimbal's Scottie Dogs?

Hi Martha,
Making Valentine's Day cards for my classmates when I was a young child is one of my favorite memories as a child. My mom bought the Valentine's Day card craft kit and I would sit on my parents bed and make cards to give at school. It was the first memory I have of crafting. Ever since then I have loved to craft. I buy from Martha Stewart Crafts line at Michael's all the time for fun crafting projects.Your products are so rich, gorgeous and yummy to use. I love how you decided to have a Valentine's Day crating party for your employees. It's a great idea because Valentine's Day is such a great holiday to craft for. Yet another great idea and party event from you to others who fill your life with joy.
Happy Valentine's Day dear Martha!!
xo

Hi Martha, How great to see this delightful blog today with your fantastic employees creating a Valentine's Day Crafting Event on Sunday! All of those websites that you shared are awesome and I do recall Maura Madden's great event called Valentine's Day Crafternoon's Party in your MSL magazine! Your employees are so great to come out on a Sunday and produce this beautiful event! All of these photos are fabulous and everyone looks so busy and happy to be involved in the event! All of your craft items are superior and how nice that Gimbal's Fine Candies from San Francisco provided those delicious candies! If they do this once a month, it will sure be fun to see them at it again and again! It was so nice for you to share this charming blog with us and how great that you are getting many more comments from your followers! Off to see The Daily Wag with Dr. Pia's delightful blog we see every Thursday! God Bless all of you and your animals, too! Jan

Hi Martha,
I get into paper crafting once in awhile because it's fun to make cards and holiday decorations. I find it therapeutic and calming and sometimes I just need a break. You have the best punches and papers to work with too and I wish I had more of them. I think about that every time I watch your craft show on HSN but unfortunately, I don't have a lot of time to craft. My niece usually puts my decorations up for her grandchildren so I think I'll get some of your Valentine day supplies at Michaels and have another Crafternoon party of one. I like your craft paints and already know what I'm going to paint with a couple of those lush colors in picture #21! That pedestal is nice too but I'm more interested in just the top part. Thanks for showing us some new things here because I can't always make it to Michaels on the other side of town. Those sour Gimbal candies look interesting too! Trish

What a nice event! Such creative people, it must be a thrill to work with them all. Maybe a video of them crafting together would be neat? I know I would enjoy it. By the way I loved the series of Christmas videos that were done at your Bedford home. Those were stunning!

You always manage to inspire me to do more for the people I love. Did you know that Martha? It's like this collective, contagious energy you carry. You're such a beautiful and caring soul in so many ways, always giving of yourself to others. I'm grateful to you for giving of your time so unselfishly to this forum. Your memories are now ours too and we treasure every single one of them. Ever stand before something so beautiful it brings tears to your eyes? This is our moment. We love you Martha. It seems difficult to carve out time to be creative…even at 10! Here is the link to my little party http://willowandbee.com/2013/02/04/valentines-make-and-take/
