Attending The jcpenney Home Launch Party

Last Thursday, June 6, jcpenney held a Home Launch Party at the Skylight at Moynihan Station in the New York Post Office. The party kicked off the reinvention of the jcpenney home department and all of the exciting new designer partnerships in the store, including BODUM, MarthaHome, Design by Conran, Michael Graves Design, Happy Chic by Jonathan Adler, ORDNING&REDA, and Pantone Universe. The event’s theme was centered on “the big move” and each brand had their very own, life-size moving truck in the space that was styled with new product that is now in stores. The trucks were situated to create a cul-de-sac around a bar that was made out of large, JCP branded boxes. Each truck had a lawn in front of it to emulate a lawn.

I am very excited about my new product line, MarthaHome, available at jcpenney.  MarthaCelebrations includes products from the floor to ceiling, and beginning to end, that you need to help you celebrate every occasion with the style and fun it deserves.  MarthaPantry, my first-ever food line consists of unique basics from breakfast to dessert mixes to condiments, sauces, and snacks.  The MarthaDecor collection includes colorful new designs for rugs (MarthaRugs), draperies (MarthaWindow), mirrors (MarthaMirrors) and lighting (MarthaLighting) that can be coordinated easily with a range of styles for every home.
