Sharkey modelling a magazine-made coat for a story on Christmas gifts. She was always an excellent model.
Perhaps the best thing about Sharkey was her sister, Francesca- and vice versa, of course! They could play for hours, happy to be together, almost inseparable!
Sharkey and Francesca were sisters, but not from the same litter. Sharkey was born a few months later on Feb 18, 2005. They are fancy French Bulldogs and dressed accordingly.
Over the years fans sent in hundreds of images of the two Frenchies.
Sharkey has been a pocketbook, a stuffed toy, a needlepoint and a fabric.
She has been a wooden puzzle. The golden bowl, a German porcelain dog bowl, was a Christmas present for Sharkey. Francesca received one, too.
Both dogs have graced coffee mugs and dishes!
The Frenchies look cute in line drawings- the water bottle was specifically embellished for Sharkey by a fan!
The black plate is very cute with a silhouette of Sharkey in bright white!
This artist-fan very cleverly captured the essence of the two Frenchies as well as of their close friend, PawPaw.
Another fan painted the two dogs in a very beautiful way with pink collars.
I love the portrait on the left- so true to life! The cartoon on the right is charming in its own way!
This tile relief is so realistic! Sharkey looks as if she will be walking right out of my computer screen.
This applique artwork is so thoughtful and captures Sharkey's spirit!
Petit point embroidery of a photographic image of the Frenchies and me.
Cartoonish, but very, very good!
