At nine weeks old little Ghenghis Khan looks frisky and very happy.
He has the friendliest disposition and loved posing for pictures.
He's getting a bit distracted by the presence, on the floor, of three six-week-old chow chow females, who came with him to visit.
Here's one of the three girls - very very cute.
Square and stocky - this girl looks very good at six weeks.
She loved posing for pictures on the kitchen table.
This little girl visited every icy puddle in the yard on her way into the house.
Very darling but quite tired after the long trip from Pennsylvania.
I loved this little spunky girl - even with all of the activity, she remained calm and above it all.
The black 'muzzle' and the dark golden fur turns a more even redish tone as the weeks go by.
She just loves the cool of the marble counter on her fat little belly.
A perfect (and clean) rear end on Ghenghis!
Lily's husband, Lou, loved the chow chows - he translated Ghenghis Khan into Chinese for me - unfortunately, I can't write it here in the Chinese characters.
Lou just loved holding Ghenghis - he cuddled and cooed!
One of the girls at the 'golden bowl' - the Frenchies' water dish.
Behind the gate, in the servery, Francesca and Sharkey were not happy with the massive intrusion into their kitchen. They barked and they whined and they did sound quite ferocious, and the chow puppies totally ignored them.
Both Frenchies looking a bit put out.
One of the girls playing with a Christmas toy.
Two girls snuggling in - not yet house-broken, they piddled a few times on the towels.
Francesca really trying to make a visit to the other side of the gate - to no avail!
Ghenghis was getting tired of posing and he was also thirsty and a bit hungry.
Carlos loved all of the puppies, of course - he wanted all of them.
