An evening of comedy, dinner, and dancing at the Ross School

I spent this past weekend at my home in East Hampton at the eastern end of Long Island. On Saturday evening, I had the great pleasure of attending the Ross School's Sixth Annual Live At Club Starlight Benefit for Ross Scholarships. I was actually this year's Honoree, recognized for my belief in the power of learning, for my achievements as a teacher, and for serving as an inspiration to children everywhere.  The Ross School is an extraordinary learning establishment founded in 1991 by Courtney and her late husband Steven J. Ross. It is heralded for its unique and progressive curriculum, serving students from grades K-12. Ross provides an educational experience, which gives its students a global perspective making them familiar with all cultures.

It was an evening of comedy, dinner, and dancing, featuring Seth Meyers of Saturday Night Live and a special performance by Alexa Ray Joel - Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley's daughter! I also presented the Martha Stewart scholarship to the amazing Greg Grossman, the accomplished 14-year-old chef. Watch this video clip about the Ross School from my television show and please, tell me what you think.
