1 The historic Apollo theater is located in the Harlem section of Manhattan. Built in 1913, this neo-classical theater operated as a burlesque venue for many years and became the epicenter of African American culture.
2 As we arrived, there was a lot of fanfare at the canopy - Is Tony Shafrazi, the owner of the Shafrazi art galleries, greeting me? Oh, no, it was Ben Stiller he was axcited about.

4 Alexis wanted to go and we met Kevin Sharkey and his friend Jared, a Sotheby's real estate agent, at the door. Kevin was given tickets at the last minute and Jared, an avid beatles fan, was so excited.
