Myong, great healthy food near my house!

Last week I told you about Momofuku, one of my favorite “fast food” restaurants in Manhattan and now I want  to tell you about another establishment that serves healthy and “fast food” near my home in Bedford.  Myong www.plgourmet.com, located at 360 N. Bedford Rd. Mt. Kisco, NY, is owned and operated by Myong Feiner, who immigrated to this country from South Korea.  Myong’s shop is impeccably clean and elegant looking, and from this place, she is living her dream of serving healthy and delicious foods, many with a refreshing and unique, Asian flare.  Myong loves to experiment with spices and different flavor combinations and she has created a wonderful menu of original salads, soups, and wraps.  Her bakery department offers an extensive array of tasty, organic baked goods and also has a good selection of gluten-free.  Myong’s own private label includes custom blended coffees, signature teas, sauces, and other items.  Her philosophy is simple – a product can only be as good as the ingredients that go into it and she takes pride in using only the highest quality, as well as purified water from a sophisticated filtration system.  Myong’s business also includes  a busy catering concern and she’s delighted to prepare and serve her lovely and delicious food at parties and other events.

This is Myong who always has time for her customers.
