My Great American Tag Sale - 2 Days to Go!
If you've been following my blog and my Instagram page @MarthaStewart48, you've seen just some of the items up for sale at my Great American Tag Sale - now two days away, April 23rd and 24th!
This sale promises to be like no other - it's a selection of curated things I've collected over the years. And now, for the first time, I'm ready to share them with you in this giant tag/Garage/yard/estate/get-rid-of-it sale. Yesterday, our teams were busy organizing, cleaning, appraising, and tagging - it's all hands on deck for this exciting event. Plus, the Great American Tag Sale is airing as a one-hour special on ABC May 25th. You'll see how this amazing event unfolds and watch as hundreds of lucky shoppers purchase their treasures. I can't wait.

- So many of the items up for sale are rare and interesting. These are round bottomed bottles. Rounded bases were first designed in the 1800s to do the opposite of flat bases and ensured that the bottle was never left standing upright. The bottles were instead left on their sides so that the wired down cork would not dry out and shrink allowing the contents to lose carbonation and/or evaporate.
