They are so cute, I can't believe they are so calm. Paw Paw looks so cute and Sharkey is so regal! Loved Loved Loved the show today! You and Rosie were wonderful together, she should be on at least once a month!

I love Pawpaw's costume. And Pawpaw seem to love it too. Francesca and Sharkey look adorable. Where did you get them? My Ginger barked when she saw Pawpaw's costume. She was a ballerina today. I think she wants a new one for next year.

Oh what fun it is to read your blog!!! I absolutely love these pictures of your dogs and donkeys. How did you ever hold the camera still long enough to get the shots without doubling over with laughter?!! I'm still laughing! You really made my day! I would love to know what your animals were thinking. If only they could talk.... Jan

Hi. I'm from Singapore. I'm surprized that you decorate your dogs and your house for halloween. We don't do that in Singapore. What nice decorations you have. And your dogs are adorable too!
Posted by: Jenny | November 1st, 2007 at 12:42 am
Those are the best pet costumes I've ever seen! I love the decorations in your home, too. Especially that pumpkin tree!

I am amazed that your wonderful, cute dogs posed on the bench for that great picture. That is truly amazing. I remember trying to get 2 humans to pose at the same time (when my kids were little: teenagers and young adults will not pose no way, no how!)
It is not an easy feat.
I enjoy seeing a glimpse into your beautiful home.

Paw Paw is entirely too adorable and it seems as if she fits in perfectly with the rest of the herd!

Paw Paw looks absolutely adorable as a donkey and appears to fit right in with the rest of the herd!

The dog dressed as a donkey, with the donkeys, is just hysterical. So cute! On Wednesday, I was looking forward to accompanying Miss Choi to your show (to do her makeup and hair). I had a prior commitment and had to gracefully decline. I was so disappointed thinking that was my one opportunity to meet you and see your makeup and hair department. I subscribe to Eva Scrivo's newsletter and I've learned so many fabulous things from her online. I've ordered all the brushes she has suggested to purchase and watched the "How to give a proper blow-out" video over and over. Your hair always looks fabulous - the color, cut and style! Of course, this has nothing to do with the donkeys or the dogs!

These are the most adorable pictures I have ever seen. How did you get the dogs to keep them on?

I love the costumes, they look so cute. I also have a chow and his name is Simba. Simba is 13 years old. He is the best dog I have ever had. He is sweet and becoming more loveable as he ages. I really like it when you have your chow on T.V. I don't get to see many. Your dog is beautiful.

PawPaw is so handsome. He looks like a little lion. My basset hound,HappyGal, passed away over a year ago. Someday I will get another friend. Maybe a chow?? Would it be to hot to have one in the south?

I have a sheltie and his nose is long (looks like a little collie. I play a game with him called "elephant dog." I put a sock on his nose and he sits soo patiently until I can't hold back laughing anymore. Then he goes nuts. This picture reminds me of it. I am laughing as I write this and my little sheltie is already perking his ears in anticipation of some fun.

Dear Martha,
My husband saw your show this morning (Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008) and said I would be jealous if I saw your holiday christmas cards. Since he sparked my interest I had to ask why? He said you described your cards as the "picture of my boys" and then showed a picture of your Friesian horses on the card. I love Friesians and think they are the perfect fairytale horse. My husband and I participate with a friend's joust troupe, where my husband joust and I squire for the team. I would love to own my own Friesian gelding and dress him up in a medieval caparasin/garb. Could you please post pictures of your horses when you get the chance? I would love to see them. Thank you and have a wonderful day!
Sincerely,
Kelly Stephenson

Martha,
I AM VERY INTERESTED IN TALKING TO OR BLOGGING WITH YOU. I HAVE 2 CHOW CHOWS, ONE BLUE,AND ONE BLACK, AND I LOVE THEM BOTH ALL TO PIECES!!
I THINK YOU KNOW MY BREEDER QUITE WELL HER NAME IS PATTI MATHER OF ADDISON NY SHE OWNS CHOW DOWN KENNEL. SHE IS SUCH A WONDERFUL PERSON, I OFTEN DO SOME GROOMING FOR HER, AND SHE ALSO HAS HELPED ME OUT A LOT WITH MY GIRLS. PATTI HAS SHOWN ME SOME PICTURES OF YOU AND YOUR DOGS,AND I JUST THOUGHT THAT WAS WONDERFUL, SO THEREFORE I AM VERY INTERRESTED IN CHATTING WITH YOU MORE, BUT I AM REALLY NOT TOO GOOD AT THIS BLOGGING THING, BUT AM VERY EAGER TO LEARN!
ps MY SYMPATHY GOES OUT TO YOU FOR THE LOSS OF PAW-PAW, I HAD TO PUT MY FIRST CHOW I EVER HAD TO SLEEP 3 YEARS AGO DUE TO AGE, AND JOINT PROBLEMS,AND IT REALLY CRUSHED MY HEART! JUST KNOW HE IS UP THERE SOMEWHERE LOOKING DOWN ON YOU,AND I BET HE IS JUST SO PROUD OF THE SUPERIOR LIFE YOU GAVE TO HIM..
THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME, HOPE TO VISIT WITH YOU SOME MORE.

I wish to extend my condolences on the loss of your dear puppy.. so sorry.
I saw a question regarding Mire Poix..and I was told the term came from The Duke of Mire poix who wanted to have that base in all his dishes....because the words mire poix don't really have a word for word translation. I wonder if you ever heard about this? I am enjoying your show daily since I retired ( as a daycare cook).. Have a peaceful day. Jean Saulnier-blades
