My Canon 1D Mark III
One of My Camera's, what do you shoot with? Let me know.
Thanks,
Martha Stewart

Canon's flagship EOS-1D Mark III is the most advanced EOS Digital SLR ever produced. It has a new 10.1 megapixel CMOS sensor (APS-H size) with Canon's EOS Integrated Cleaning System and a 3.0-inch LCD monitor with Canon's Live View technology. The 1D Mark III has a redesigned 100% viewfinder, a new 45-point AF system, and can shoot up to 10 fps continuously with a maximum burst of 110 shots. Dual DIGIC III Image Processors work in tandem to speed up every process while refining image quality; a new, lighter body has improved weather sealing and shutter durability. Every facet of the EOS experience has been enhanced with the 1D Mark III.
It's the new standard.

I am a digital camera holdout - I have a Canon Rebel EOS 35mm film camera...ever since the digital camera revolution, I lost interest in taking pictures!

Martha:
I have the digital Canon EOS Rebel XT. I purchased it a couple years ago. I believe you have one, too. I love it, but the one drawback is that you must use the actual viewfinder when shooting, not the LCD monitor, which I find inconvenient.
The Canon EOS-1D Mark III sounds perfect. Not only is the LCD monitor much larger--3 ", but it also offers the "live view" option.
I'm not able to upgrade now, but if I am soon, this is the camera to get.
It's funny, I didn't notice this particular blog entry until now.
Have a Great Day and God Bless You,
Joseph Brennan

I have a Nikon D80. It means the world to me. One of the reasons is because it made me go to an actual camera store. An independently owned business. I love walking into the shop and seeing all the people who like cameras and photography. I am so comfortable in there where I may ask the sale staff any and every question I come up with. They have classes too!
THANKS for asking.

I have a Nikon D40 and man the quality is just amazing. Yours takes amazing shots as well, after all it's a 10mp. Do you ever use the live-view when you take photos, though? I remember asking the people at my camera store about that for the newer canons coming out before i got mine and they were saying how with an SLR, it's such an odd concept.
nonetheless, i love it
photography is becoming more and more of a passion for me (and i've become addicted with flickr - i'm not sure if you've heard of it, but its a wonderful photo organizer. heres mine for reference: http://www.flickr.com/rachaface)

I have the Rebel XT (and the old EOS Elan)...both work with my Tamron 28-200 lens, purchased fifteen years ago. Soon, it will all emerge from storage...as soon as the cabin is built! I'm slow to upgrade, but in another five years or so...and it's Canon all the way!

I live taking pictures. I started out years ago with an Olymous OM1, which is a manual 35mm. I still use it occasionally. I also have a Cannon EOS REBEL X S, which I use because I like to have the pictures. For digital, I have a Nikon Coolpix 3200 and a Casio QV R4O. I would live to have one like yours, but with one daughter who will be a senior in college and one that will be a freshman the camera will have to wait.

Hello Martha. This camera is absolutlely unbelievable. I don't have one myself, but I have my eye on it! Hope to have one by Xmas. Do you have other photos on here that you have taken with this camera? I would love to see them.

Hi Martha, What a fantastic camera. The pictures you have taken with it are absolutely stunning. I don't remember this blog and I'm so glad you had a link to it so I could read about your camera. The only camera I have is the Pure Digital you showed on your TV show a while back. Thanks again for sharing and I look forward to many more stunning photos. Jan
