Martha, you look stunning as usual, and obviously enjoy very much meeting people who come to your book signings. But these men buying books for their wives and daughters.....perhaps. Or maybe they're buying for themseleves. Come on guys, let's own up to the fact that no matter how macho you choose to be, the best information on cooking and gardening is found at MSLO. Keep up the good work Martha. Wishing the best for you, Alexis (who has a great blog by the way), and your company.

Dear Martha,
It was so nice to meet you again. I hope Francesca (hey, that's my name too) and Sharkey are being good little puppies!
Love, Frannie

I love how you promote the special causes of people you meet at MSL events and places you write about. It is quite refreshing. I admire you and whoever helps you with this blog. I truly enjoy it.

Hi Martha,
You looked great just like you did on TV that day. I'm glad that you had a nice turnout. Everyone looks so happy to meet you including the two lucky ladies from Japan!
~
I'm really impressed with the nursery stock too. Our Costco brings in plants to put on carts once in awhile but not like this assemblage. Maybe I'll show our Costco these pictures. I shop there a lot and wouldn't mind getting different kinds of plants too. I did buy a Sago Palm there, the last one they had! Well, thanks for sharing your book signing experience with us. Trish

Hi Martha, thank you so much for helping to raise awareness of Stop CMV. My 3 year old daughter Ava was born with congenital CMV and is deaf and has cysts in her brain. We appreciate you helping our cause. Thanks again.

Yay! I see a pic of me up there. Meeting Martha was one of the things on my "bucket list" that I didn't actually think I would get the opportunity to do. I was thrilled to get a chance to talk to her and her sister. It was worth the hour and a half drive to meet them! I'm so glad Martha tweeted about it early that morning so I was able to make it there on time. Martha is an inspiration to me and an incredible teacher. Thanks for taking the time to connect with your fans!

Hi Martha, Not only do I love you, but I love Costco, also! This is a great blog about your recent book signing there. All of your photos are superb and I especially love the ones with the young children. They looked so happy and so did you! That is a really nice Costco there in Norwalk and it looks pretty much like the three different ones I go to here in the Seattle area. Some day I hope to go to the original one here in Kirkland, WA. I am so happy that I can get your books there and I wish you still had those wonderful foods there, also. Your ham was the best I have ever had!!! Love, Jan

You seem to have fun at your book signings chatting with your fans. You need to come back to Chicago! I've learned so much from you and think you are a great woman... I met you at Macy's last May to get my books signed. I was so nervous to meet you, I bumped into your tableware display and broke a glass or two. AGHHH! I was so embarrassed! My mom, of course, got a great laugh from me being star struck!!!

I had a wonderful time interviewing you Martha! You are always upbeat and energetic! I'm always amazed at how you're able to keep it all together--your hands are in so much! I wish you all the best with your move in September to the Hallmark Channel!
I hope you'll take me up on your offer?! *smile*
I don't cook so great and would LOVE to come on YOUR show and take a lessons from the "QUEEN!"
Thanks Again,
Des

Hi Martha!
It was so much fun seeing you again at Costco and being the first in line! You look amazing as always! Nice to meet Laura and Eliad too!
I thought you'd get a kick out of the article from House Beautiful! Amazing I kept your first article all these years!!
Please follow me on Twitter- Yorkie7! I am redoing my garden shed and am using your Martha Stewart Paints from Home Depot! I had them make a stain (you need that in your line) from the color Saguaro092 - main color of shed, the trim -garden shed 228; and pumpkin seed 236 for the door. My husband used bead board, tongue and groove for the front door! Looks fabulous! I will "tweet" it's progress. I made the trellis featured from March 1995 MSL issue and my clematis is already half way up!
Costco does have great plants. I just purchased four boxwood to frame my herb beds.
Thanks again Martha!

While my geographical location prevented me from being at your book signing, though I just got your book as a early birthday present, I am commenting as a mother of a 14 year old daughter who was born severely affected by Cytomegalovirus. THANK you so much for taking the time to help raise awareness for the Stop CMV campaign. You have touched so many lives by this small gesture and we are all so grateful. Best of luck with more book sales and signings!

Hi Martha
I've gone through so many of your cookbooks and magazines over the years. I really love the recipes which are simple and delicious. As a vegetarian, I find so few meatless recipes in your collections. It would be wonderful if you can publish a cookbook for vegetarians. Can you think about it, please?? Take care and have a very Happy Mother's Day. Thanks, Vee

What a great place to do a book signing, Costco! Wish you could do ALL the Costcos
Posted by: Wendy | May 3rd, 2010 at 7:33 pm
Love your books as usual Ms. Martha! I'm so thankful that a celebrity as yourself would mention our cause(StopCMV). My daughter is profoundly affected by this preventable disease and it warms my heart to see you mention it in your blog! You're truly awesome!!!

Thank you Martha for mentioning our cause (STOP CMV)! My 2 year old daughter suffered brain damage from the virus which left her with profound bilateral hearing loss, cortical vision impairment, cerebral palsy quadraplegia, global delays and epilepsy. We need as much help as we can get to help further advocate for people to get involved and keep this from happening to any other children. If I'd been given a vaccine for cytomegalovirus as a child my daughter wouldn't have to suffer now. Thank you again for bringing awareness to this important cause.

Martha,
I'm so excited that you are coming to the Giant Eagle Market District in Pittsburgh! I was lucky enough to get a ticket for the autograph line.
Please try to eat at Primanti Brothers while you are here, if you have the time. Primanti's is famous for their sandwiches, which are served with the fries and oil & vinegar coleslaw right on the sandwich. They are delicious. The main location (in the Strip District area of the city) has a mural depicting famous Pittsburghers. Cash only!
