I Hosted A Party For Dom Pérignon - Part Four
For my fourth and final blog on the Dom Perignon party that I hosted at Lily Pond for the launch of their new P2 Vintage 1998 champagne, I'm sharing a few photos of me mingling with my guests, the dinner on the porch and the delicious desserts that followed. The exquisite vintage was presented to us between the first and second courses, prepared by chef, Pierre Schaedelin. Everyone enjoyed the mingling, the food and especially the bubbly! It was an honor to host the release party for Dom Perignon’s extraordinary new P2 Vintage. It was truly an evening to remember!
The dinner location was set on the front porch of the house. The table setting was elegant and inviting!
I had such a wonderful time mingling with all of the guests.
Here I am with Tony Award-winning actor, Nathan Lane.
Then I made my way over to chat with my friend, NYC fashion designer Reed Krakoff.
Then posed for a photo with Haute Living CEO, Kamal Hotchandani and Kevin Sharkey.
Of course Kevin enjoyed being table partners with Susan Lucci.
My friend, real estate broker, Kathy Sloane posed by the pool at the rear of the house.
The tall pillar candles in hand-blown glass hurricanes along the border of the pool was an elegant touch and created a festive ambiance.
Another great touch was the beautifully lit dome and the Dom Perignon P2 Vintage 1998 shield. This photo was taken from the 3rd floor of the house.
The garden looked spectacular, even at night.
An outside view of guests dining on the porch.
Here is my publicist, Susan Magrino talking to Katie Couric and her husband John Molner - all enjoying the newly launched P2 Vintage 1998.
Television and print journalist, Judy Licht and her husband Jerry Della Femina.
The first course was marinated salmon on buckwheat blinis with smoked cream and sturgeon caviar on potato blinis.
Served in a Tajine, the second course was couscous royale; chicken, merguez sausage, citrus lamb loin; ras el hanout, spiced nine vegetable broth; and semolina couscous grains with golden raisins.
Dom Perignon then introduced the exquisite P2 VINTAGE 1998.
The mood was festive and fun!
The new P2 Vintage was very well received by everyone, including Susan Lucci and Kevin Sharkey!
Of course my Chow Chow, Genghis Khan was well received as well. Here he is posing with Nancy Rosenberg.
Here I am posing for a photo with Nancy and Adam Rosenberg and Mark Advent and Karina Frangulyan.
The Coleman Music DJs were spectacular! Their music set the perfect atmosphere.
Pierre created a beautiful dessert buffet. Some desserts included pana cotta with passion fruit and mango, lemon curd on meringues, and a chocolate salted caramel tart.
He also made a cherry trifle and an exquisite gelee au champagne, strawberry salad.
Guests loved the peach crumble, poached apricot with caramel crème patisserie, and the chocolate brownies with chocolate ganache and raspberries. Yummy!
It was a truly wonderful evening and an honor to host Dom Perignon's very special event!
