Enjoy and the New Canon EOS M3
This post is in collaboration with Enjoy.
As many of you know, I am very interested in technology - I enjoy testing new devices, and learning about new applications and features.
Recently, I tried Enjoy, a personal commerce platform that allows web-enabled consumers to purchase electronics and then meet with an Enjoy tech-savvy employee to review how the devices work. Enjoy arranged for one of its experts, Giovanni Lugones, to deliver Canon's newest camera, the EOS M3, and to go over its functions. Although I am very familiar with how gadgets operate, especially cameras, it was nice to have an Enjoy expert nearby to address any questions or concerns.
Here are some photos…

Enjoy's services are available to anyone living in New York City, Brooklyn, Queens, Hoboken, New Jersey and the San Francisco Bay area. There are more details about Enjoy in the photo captions below.
1 Part of the Enjoy experience is getting a personal visit from one of its experts. New York City based Enjoy expert, Giovanni Lugones, came by our offices with the signature canvas bag to hand-deliver something new. https://www.enjoy.com/
2 Enjoy doesn't ship products - its team hand-delivers them. Giovanni delivered my new Canon EOS M3 camera. I'm an avid and experienced photographer and have used many cameras over the years, but it's nice to learn about a new piece of equipment from an expert who is already familiar with it.
3 Opening any box, especially one holding a new piece of technology, is always exciting.
4 This is the new EOS M3 camera body. The package also comes with a standard zoom lens, a bigger telephoto zoom lens, a battery charger, and a strap. https://www.enjoy.com/products/canon
5 One of the first things I always do with a new camera is attach the strap.
6 Giovanni shows me the different compartments for the memory card, and battery, and reviews all the basic functions of the camera.
7 We configured all the introductory settings - all those initial tasks you really wish every device could just know once it came out of the box.
8 Giovanni shows me the different lenses, what they can do, and how to connect each one.
9 This telephoto zoom lens has a range of 55mm to 200mm - I am looking forward to using it.
10 My first test shot - a photo of our Senior Director of Desktop Services, Angus Chen, who is taking a picture of me.
11 We went over the image effects, which include different shooting modes and filters.
12 And, I selected a few personalized picture settings.
13 Selfies are always fun - this camera's three-inch tilt-type LCD screen makes selfies much easier to take.
14 We're looking at the photos I took, and making a few changes to my picture settings. Cameras can be preset to do so many things.
15 Giovanni shows me how to reset and change various settings.
16 Here I am trying the shorter, standard zoom lens.
17 And, the telephoto zoom lens - maybe I zoomed in too much.
18 Let's try this again.
19 We're reviewing the photo of Angus.
20 Don't be afraid to experiment with the camera and to play with the different settings and features.
21 Here is another selfie. This one is taken by Enjoy's New York field expert manager, Melvin Sanders. Another benefit to this camera is that it has a very high resolution of 24-megapixels, which results in much better images.
22 In just a short amount of time, I was able to set up this new camera and learn how to use its newest applications. Thanks, Enjoy!
