A Gala For FDR Four Freedoms Park

There is a wonderful park in New York City called the Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park. A tribute to this remarkable president, the park celebrates the four Freedoms  he articulated in his 1941 State of the Union address.  This four-acre memorial is located at the southern end of Roosevelt Island in the East River.  Earlier this month, I attended a sunset garden party in the park and I was awed by the beauty and design of this space.  Admission is free and I encourage anyone who can to visit.
