This sale promises to be like no other - it's a selection of curated things I've collected over the years. And now, for the first time, I'm ready to share them with you in this giant tag/Garage/yard/estate/get-rid-of-it sale. Yesterday, our teams were busy organizing, cleaning, appraising, and tagging - it's all hands on deck for this exciting event. Plus, the Great American Tag Sale is airing as a one-hour special on ABC May 25th. You'll see how this amazing event unfolds and watch as hundreds of lucky shoppers purchase their treasures. I can't wait.

So many of the items up for sale are rare and interesting. These are round bottomed bottles. Rounded bases were first designed in the 1800s to do the opposite of flat bases and ensured that the bottle was never left standing upright. The bottles were instead left on their sides so that the wired down cork would not dry out and shrink allowing the contents to lose carbonation and/or evaporate. The tents are filling up, but I've still got lots of items to bring out of storage for this massive event! I've had some of the pieces for many years - things I've kept in my personal homes and collections, things I've used on my television shows, or in my magazine shoots. Some things are hard to part with, but it's exciting to know they will all be repurposed for many years to come! Our teams are working hard.
