I am so thrilled to announce the launch of our very first digital issue of Martha Stewart Living, entitled Boundless Beauty. When I was first introduced to the Apple iPad, I immediately wanted to see my magazine on that device. We, at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, have always strived to be totally abreast of our new digital age, which is growing at an astounding pace. Embracing this, we worked very closely with Adobe to create, what we feel, is a stunningly spectacular digital magazine filled with original content and many innovative concepts. The outcome is a beautiful, functional, and helpful premier digital issue, which celebrates our twentieth anniversary of Living. If you own an iPad, here is where you can download Boundless Beauty, a really good beginning to our new digital format.
This is the cover of the Special Digital Issue of Martha Stewart Living. You can actually watch this peony unfurling, as the image is made up of 180 time-lapse photos over a 10-hour period taken in my garden.
The story includes a scrolling peony glossary, fashioned very artfully after a traditional Japanese scroll.
This dessert is from an entertaining story at Skylands, my home in Maine. Tap the little blue icon and the scrolling recipe appears.
This story is based on the two very different decorating styles of MSL decorating editors Kevin Sharkey and Rebecca Robertson. After reading Project Decorate, you can vote for your favorite.
Just in time for the holidays - a fabulous bubble-themed celebration including champagne, balloons, and caviar.

Another incredible arrangement
To shoot the peony story, the crew arrived before dawn to capture my farm in the fresh morning light.
The very talented team of Gentl and Hyers were the photographers for this story.
Most photographers would agree that early mornings are magical for photography.
Editorial Director, Gael Towey, was there as Art Director and took these photos.
I have 770 peonies planted at the farm!
In the digital issue, you get a spectacular panoramic view of the farm, including my Friesians grazing in their misty paddock.
My Hi-Lo was used to elevate the photographer to capture the extraordinary panorama.
The Hi-Lo worked well to capture large swaths of the vista.
