The Martha Stewart Cafe Opening Day

Cappuccino, artisanal tea, a pastry? There are many choices at the new Martha Stewart Cafe, and I’m thrilled to announce it’s open for business!

Located in the lobby of our offices at the historic Starrett-Lehigh building in New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood, our cafe opened to the public yesterday morning to a crowd of curious customers. Inspired by my travels around the world, I wanted this cafe to include only the finest sourced ingredients and the most delicious baked treats. I personally selected the menu to include a variety of hot and cold coffees, loose-leaf teas, and pastries from some of my favorite local bakeries, restaurants and chefs. And, if you love the beverages served at the cafe, you can purchase your own bags of fine coffees or teas at the same location.

I’ve long dreamed of creating a place just like this, where people could enjoy flavorful, handcrafted cafe drinks and snacks. With help from an excellent, hard working team of colleagues here at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, it's here! Enjoy these photos of our opening day, taken by our photographer, Mike Krautter, and be sure to stop by the next time you’re in the area. You can find more information at www.marthastewartcafe.com.
